OT: since harry potter is sumting we cld consider belonging to new age stuff [witchcraft, spells, etc], off topic ko gamay ha? a group of new age practioners are currently in the early stages of organizing a clairvision course [awakening the third eye]. we wld like to know if naa bay interested dri ani nga mga things. we will be coordinating wid Gina Lopez of abs cbn shld this push thru since she's a big fan of clairvision too. so if any harry potter fans are interested, msg me pls!

i posted it here coz ppl hu like harry potter tend to [but not always] be interested wid new age stuff. i'll be posting this in d proper forum shld things be finalized. thank u for reading.

@angelfyre: you should do a lot of research over the internet regarding the occult. Then you would be amazed about the things regarding the facts and fiction of occult.

Before opening the third eye, one must be prepared for the consequences!!! You wouldn't want to end up like Luna Lovegood.

I've never thought of it before, but I don't recall seeing any occult procedure presented in the Harry Potter novel.

i dnt use d word occult, coz for some they have this negative views abt it. new age is the proper term for it [for me]. opening the 3rd eye isn't all about seeing ghosts, etc., its a whole lot more! that's why in my post, i said any1 who is interested. by that, im assuming that those interested has already read/researched abt these stuff coz 1 doesnt just wake one day and decided to be interested in these things widout fully understanding it.

'occult' procedures in harry potter: potion making, fortune telling [hello prof. trelawney!], spells!!!

thank you for elaborating. the reason for my reaction is to warn everyone else and not for my own consumption. We are in a forum, remember? I understand perfectly well what opening the third eye means and I never mentioned anything about seeing ghosts alone. I assure you that by opening one's third eye you get to see a whole lot more; even the unimaginable. The opening of the third eye is a NO TURNING BACK choice similar to the selection of the red or blue pill in the MATRIX. Thus the warning!!!

by occult procedures, I'm referring to the traditional procedures done before anything is performed...

(i.e. levitation - before casting a levitation spell; it was never mentioned that the person had breathing excercises to achieve this.)

(i.e. fortune telling - you need to achieve clairvoyance first before performing any of prof trelawney's classes)

i would like to ask something...is it true of what they said about harry potter books being atheist thing?? i mean, what's with witchcraft and being a believer of God??

    just a quick question...

@jiggs: on the contrary, yes u can actually shut it off if u open it. and yes, as iv mentioned, its not abt seeing ghosts alone, its a whole lot more. the course wldnt be focused alone on the 3rd eye, its jus 1 of the things that wld b covered. clairvoyance is not sumting 2 b a achieved, its a gift. breathing exercises have varied benefits aside from being a precursor to anything occult.

@AVriLRockZ: for some close-minded indivuals, maybe. but personally i dont think so. Im sure the Vatican had read it, n i dint hear them raise hell abt it compared to the Da Vinci Code.
