so far ako experience kay sa bantayan island. daghan mangingilad.mga traysikol drivers ug traysikad drivers.grabe mo overprice. kana pa gyud ilang mga pumpboat pwerte kamahal.garapal kaayo. kung mo reklamo ka kontrahan paka. i swore dili na gyud ko balik anang bantayan island. hehe. malapascua nalang ko.

twas our first time in Bantayan last weekend and pleasant man sad amo experience. Tricycle drivers and habal drivers are courteous man sad. From Budyong to Pantalan, the sikad driver charged us 20 pesos per head. For me okay na kaayo, sikad baya kahago. gibayaran namo ug 50 2 me kabook. Sta Fe to Bantayan Proper vice versa, tas nagpahulat pa jud me didto sa driver kay gasuroy suroy pa me picture picture sad sa church, he charged us 150 pesos. I think thats fair. Kay layo layo jud baya and siguro mga 2 hours total me from take off tas balik. so worth ra.

Ang bus lang ug ferry kay mahal na! Ceres bus fare non-aircon Cebu-Hagnaya 132 na! Ferry boat, non aircon 170 na! kadto ako blogs nabasa dated february bobarato pa man to. bus at 80 then ferry at 130. karun mahal na.

Your comments and suggestion are highly appreciated. this will help us improve the resort service and also the facilities and room accommodation.

The new management are trying to do everything regarding your concerns with regards to the resort facilities and amenities of the resort. It can be done but we are taking it one step at a time. But for our beach, we can't do anything about it. We admit that our beach is not as good as boracay or even bantayan, our beach has 120 meter long shoreling (low tide) and also not white sand. But we are doing everything to make it clean and guest can take a swim. But the beach front of the resort are rich with beautiful fishes and corals protected by our divers.

The resort is under new management and we are working hand in hand with all your concerns. Hope all of you can visit again the place and hope you will enjoy your stay.

Again sorry for the disappointment during your last stay.

ok ra baya ang ocean bay for 1st timers but not worthy balikan.. i had same experience pod before kay amazed kaayo ko sa ila website nindot ang place but to my dismay wa gyud mi malingaw sa dagat kay batoon samad samad gyud ang agi pun an pa sa daghang sagbot nya naa patoy bangka nga gi repair ato na time so ang ila beach front na occupy sa bangka.. pero nindot ang pool kay bisag init kaayo nindot kaligoan kay covered man..

Sorry for that,Our beach has 120 meters shoreline when its low tide. we are trying to do something with it but it will cost a lot especially for DENR. But in our beach you can also enjoy our beautiful corals and fishes. You can go snorkelling with just P100 complete with snorkelling gear.

Yes, that was the boat of the owner, it needs repair. But now the boat is done and it can be rented for island hopping to sumilon, apo island, bohol islands like balicasag, panglao, and also for dolphin watching. The boat can occupy a maximum of 30-40 people with 2 rooms.

@oceanbaybeachresort: i included you in my list sa amo adtohan with my family and relatives from luzon... concerned ko sa inyo services. which would be the reason to cross you out in my list. they would actually come for my wedding and i was very impressed sana sa mga pictures that you had posted on the wall. nways, if you are the management(manager) you should have known what happened to the visitors who had already posted the complaints. beforehand as well you should let someone inspect those rooms before the guest will occupy. i dont think the price is worth it for a crappy room. you said its in $$$ but the services rendered, quality is not $$$ for them.. sad...

Hope you can visit the resort this year. We assure that we are improving the resort facilities and amenities. And also rooms are checked before the guest will arrive.

local or foreigners, we're the same paying customers, so everyone should be treated and accomodated equally.

and i do hope naa kay blessing sa inyo management sa imo gipangsulat, bringing the name of your management. murag kung akoy manager, gifire-out ta na kas imong tinubagan. hehehe

my worst place, or not so good experience, Villa Teresita. grabe ka gubot. super gubot. as in mega gubot. murag 50 mo katao sa isa ka pool. di na ka kalangoy sa kagoot. hehehehhehe

I have been to OceanBay. That was..hmmm..almost two years ago. I'd say my experience was just ok. Yes i agree that the place is nothing like what you see sa website. The room was clean though, and was already prepared when we arrived (good thing!). The downside was the TV. It didn't work. Maayo nalang unta to naay lingaw while inside the room.

The pool? I particularly didn't like it. It was in indoor pool and so dili kaayo ka mainitan. But for a resort with a self-proclaimed standard in catering to foreign guests, I'd say "nice" is an overstatement. Naay rope naka-hang sa kilid sa pool para tingali to kapyot-kapyotan then mu-jump sa pool. "Badoy" para nako kung ang ila man diay target market are foreigners. The beach? Hmmmm.. need I say more?

The good part was the food sa restaurant. Price was just right for me kay dako man pud ang portioning. One plated order that's good for one person can actually be shared by two. And lami pud so that's a plus! The lady attendant was nice too!

Would I recommend it? Yes if you're simply after for a brief weekend relaxation and with no strict preferences. But it may not be worthy of a comeback for some. Kamo nalang judge

And oh! this isn't my worst vacation (sorry if this comment isn't in line with the topic). I'm just sharing this so everyone else reading may give OceanBay a little benefit of the doubt.

Regarding your concern, we can assure you that all rooms are clean and prepared before the guest will arrive. For our television, we don't have cable for Standard rooms, studio rooms and our family houses. We have cable but only for captains room. We are currently in contact with sky cable but unfortunately, sky cable is only until argao, cebu.

Second, Pool is open for everyone local or foreigners.

When we went to Kota resort in Bantayan last week with my family. Nagpareserve nami og rooms and pag abot namo wala pa diay na prepare ang rooms. There were 18 of us and we waited for 2 hours before we could use the rooms. We ordered lunch which took an hour to be served. Naa gasulti namo nga ila pa daw paliton ang food outside, dunno if it was true. It was an aunt who reserved for the place, so we really didn't have any choice since libre man mi hehehe.. the worst part pa jud is gkawatan among usa ka aunt sa iyang phone, as in nawa jud ang iyang phone og sa dhang among gtawagan, nitubag pa jud ang nagkuha, it was a woman on the other line, nakit an ra daw niya ang sim sa dan and take note nakit an daw niya sa labangon, so a cousin of ours sent a death threat and guess what, the morning after nabalik ang phone sa iyang bag which is in the room. Naa jud daw kawatan dha sa Kota mostly inside job. That was the worst resort we've ever been to but despite that the beach was too die for.

im sorry to hear that you had a bad experience in Kota. i was there last Sunday and Monday. I had a great time. super-nice gyud ang beach. ang room kay so-so lang kay fan room ra man to amo kay nag-tipid mi. happy ra pud ko nga we lost nothing in the room. it was my fourth time in bantayan island. i stayed in budyong last year. i guess mas ganahan ko sa beach sa Kota. i would go there again maybe next year. visiting bantayan island is the ultimate R&R for me.

i cant think of a worst vacation for me right now. i also went to davao and bohol last year, and had a great time in both places. i guess nakalimot ra ko sa bati
