i would rather return them if you do not want those stuff to remind you of the past. Burning them or tearing them apart apparently shows hate.

i beg to differ. I did this to one x i could hardly get over. pero pictures ra ako g.sunog(and pinili ra sad), the rest (stuff toys, etc.) i donated it. I believe nkatabang sya. and i don't think its hate. Its more of the lingering bleed thats still there you wana just cauterize. If dli ka nahan sunog kay sayangan ka, suway ibutang og isa ka box tanan butang nya then let your best friend keep it somewhere you may not know. when you have closure and sure nka over na jud ka nya and you think your ready, you'll just laugh about the stuff that reminded you of him. even so, you kinda have to have some kind of a keepsake to remind you, we're just human. we love, we get hurt, but we move on.

oh well, for the next breakup i think i'll make it more dramatic like put all his stuff in a barrrel and pour kerosene and set it on fire with matching witch dance! yeah i need some drama not just the heartache tsk tsk
