Based on the mentality and reactions of my neighbors, any Enchanted Kingdom executive will be turned off to find out my survey results below:
1. Do you want to have a world-class amusement park here in Cebu?
Answer - Yes.
2. Are you willing to pay a whole day, ride-all-you-can one-time entry fee of P300 to enjoy the amusement park?
Answer - No.
3. Are you willing to pay high prices on food and beverages sold within the amusement park?
Answer - No.
Those are the reactions I got from eleven neighbors I talked with recently. To sum it up, they want world class amusement and rides but in reality they are unwilling to pay the premium for it.
How about you?
i think enchanted kingdom cost more than a billion pesos... so if they have plans to put one here in cebu. they have to make sure they have a market.... im sure they are doing feasibility study on this one
As long as people are not willing to spend, there won't be an Enchanted Kingdom here in Cebu.
The problem does not end with the lack of will to spend more. The island's power supply is insufficient and unstable, and the amusement park requires a whole lot of it.
it would be nice kung madayun ni...worth it na kaayo nang 300 for the whole day oi....

on a brighter side, if madayon, this would create more jobs.
this would be a tourist attraction pod, open ato market sa visayas and mindanao.
more tourist means more jobs. more bizness, more taxes. more taxes, more development
(more corruption! ) hehe.
pero mayta madayon jud.
