now... i'm using both programs(corel photoshop and adobe cs) and so far all i can say is... it's like nokia and other cell brands... it may take time to get used to it.. for me corel's interface is very easy but i feel that cs is more flexable.. but a little more complicated..

COREL vs> PHOTOSHOP.

ITS MORE THAN COMPARING APLLES TO ORANGES

COREL is a company. maker of so many great softwares. while PHOTOSHOP is the GRAND DADDY of all photo imaging/editing software made by ADOBE Systems, Inc. Who just recently bought Macromedia in order to face Microsoft METRO and sorts.

sori to say. but i disagree to all who said coreldraw sucks. its just recently that illustrator supports its native PSD file format starting version 9.0.2 ( rivalry within company ..perhaps.) while corel support import of this format fromversion 7.0 and is the fastest software to use in lay-outing ( draft artwork, if ur professional designers who value colors )simple lay-outs. . and yeah colors.. corel fails in this area.. but with all it's command enhancements.. i bet it can finish any pure vector lay-out faster than illustrator. it's simply the fastest!

i'm using illustrator now.. for color ( final artwork ) and multi-window/application lay-outing... photoshop to illustrator to other company softwares. sony vegas.max..flash.frehand..etc. .When it's done in ILLUSTRATOR..IT"S DONE! ( no more color correction and sorts..)

and PHOTOSHOP IS THE UNDISPUTED KING OF PHOTO EDITING.. used as texturing tool in video editing Posthouses around the world..part of the KNOWN ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE.. illustrator, photoshop,primier HD 1.5, audition..and after effects. simply the best.

i guess... thers nothing to flame about his topic. if you dont know how to use the software..don't malign it .. google it!
try.. and u'l know that each software have it's own strengths and limits.

corel has multi-page..how about ur illustrator? how do u mask objects in illustrator? have u tried it in corel?

what's the largest vector lay-out (dimension..not DPI )can u do in illustrator?, photohop?

and u corel.. update ur color engine..it's very important to designers.

Ask lang ko ba unsaon man na pag buhat sa photoshop kanang i merge gani nato ang duha ka nawong? Example nawong sa tawo ug sa iro. or nawong sa tawo ug abat murag nawong na ni angel ba kun yawa na siya. unsa man na tools ang gamiton ana sa photoshop.?

Ana man gud na bai Photoshop and Corel pareho man na cila onsay naa sa cerel sofware naa sab ang Adobe softwares...
Adobe are best in Apple computers (macintosh) computers for they can proccess more than Pc (windows)..
Corel is barato ra kay sa PS sofTwARES...
