read EarlZ's post in the first page, it has instructions.
I'll repost it here nalang mara mas detailed
This release works on both original and bootleg copy of windows XP heres a more detailed instructions how.
1.)After downloading you get a Windows Media Player 11 . rar file right?
2.)Rightclick on that file and use "Extract to Windows media player 11"
that should create a folder called Windows media player 11 and inside that folder is mpsetup.exe
3.) again rightclick on mpsetup.exe ang extract it
4.) after extraction you get a folder called mpsetup
5.) open the folder and locate wmfdist11.exe, run that exe file and DO NOT REBOOT YET.
6.) locate wmp11.exe and run that exe file, after running to reboot your system.
7.) run WMP11 from your quick launch or from the start menu and the program association wizard will start, set everything you need and now you have a fully working WMP 11 w/o the need for any validation shite.
these are the instructions i also posted on ********
i read the instructions..the problem is akong na download kani...wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe.dili rar nga file..i opened the sites nga gi-post but kani ang akong nadownload...any idea ngano?..i really want to upgrade my MP.
You can still uncompress it using winrar even though it's an exe file. Lots of exe files from microsoft can be uncompressed.Originally Posted by danoote
like i said on my post, i posted this on a torrent site called ******** since a lot of the users there can even use 1/2 of their brains and atleast try something =P any since your copy is the offical beta release then you have a different file name which goes like that ( standard MS file namaming ) just extract it and u'll get the resultOriginally Posted by danoote
i know i got the executable set-up file.i extracted everything.wala gihapon...now daot na akong wmp10...cant even set it up again kay "a current version is running" daw.i'm still trying to figure out how to repair it.
internet explorer 11 bro naa sad ka? or pwede pasad kaha na sa pirated?
Internet Explorer 11? Did you time travel or something? At present time, were still up IE 7 (beta 2).Originally Posted by boyguapo
hehehe.. he must have mixed up WMP 11 and IE 7.. so voila! IE 11.. hehehe.. Anyway that was horribly OT..![]()
Anyway, the current IE beta and the WMP11 beta in the MS site requires validation.. I've installed IE7 beta 2 but then removed it (it was tough removing it BTW) 'coz it screwed up some of my apps which uses IE rendering.. (IEView, etc..)..
so why did mine install w/o the validation when i updated to the official beta?Originally Posted by Nezumix22
