OT: it is still be called life after death just like when you sleep and someone shot you dead, when you woke up then you'd just wake-up-dead.

i think life after death, is something like someone's life in the metaphysical plane and according to your deeds in the real world one will be judge to live again or to suffer for the remaining karma's in life which one never experienced in the real world............ yeah, its creepy.

i have read it from the book of Shakti Gawain, i think. it is more on Astrological Aspect. but there are some that is used by the Buddhism practices.............
