I've been using Trillian for sometime now on Windows 7 x64, and the good news for fans of Trillian is it doesn't crash in Windows 7 unlike in my usual installation of XP x64 where it crashes all the time.

can you guys post your startup times? especially katong mga newly installed nga Windows 7?
i have the build 7000 (Public Beta 1) here pero i haven't tried it
i had tried the build 6801 (PDC 2008 Release) and it was nice but the new graphical features had to be unlocked (w/ BlueBadge) and were a bit buggy (AeroPeek was buggy), it was fast
im on build 7057 (probably RC 1 - coz IE8 is already 8.0.7057.0 here with no labels of being not a final release) now and a lot of the graphical issues i had with build 6801 are already sorted out
ako lang reklamo is that with build 7057, the desktop shows up at 4mins 45secs, able to initiate a program start (a taskbar-pinned firefox) at 5mins 15secs, program shows up at 6mins 45secs, finally able to use the program (firefox) at 8mins with yahoo messenger 9 also finally loaded at 9mins 45secs. i use an E4500 with 3GB Ram (1gb + 2gb of DDR2 800mhz-FSB Kingston DIMMs) and a crappy 8500 GT 1Gb video. build 6801 gives me a useable desktop at less than 40secs!
im gonna try out my build 7000 and perhaps get a 7022 or 7048 and test them out too but i hope they give out another better-startup-time RC1 soon
so far the most stable windows 7 build ive tried is the build 7048 (64bit) and its faster than build 7000, 7022 and 7057 (the most buggy build ever).
btw i have a thread regarding windows 7.. check it here: https://www.istorya.net/forums/softwa...game-list.html![]()
ive just reverted to 7000 from 7057, it starts up in half a minute for me compared to 7057's 9mins
i wish i would have seen your post here earlier by a few hours Sasori. tsk tsk
will try out ur say on the 7048
Build 7057 in a VirtualBox setup here. So far working fine except for "Base System Device" no driver found in Device Manager. Maybe because it is runnng in Virtual Mode.
Quite Fast...
7048 somehow only activated my front panel audio jack
anyone has any idea about this? how i can make it activate my rear audio jacks as well?
i did not encounter this with 6801, 7000 or 7057
*edit*
oops, somehow 7048 restricts output to only either the front or rear and just happens to default my front
