actually, as far as i know (maybe i am wrong, but anyway), timuga is not falls per se. mga pools lang ni. tinago is the falls.

^acknowledged. will have title changed accordingly. thanks for reminding.

Hi i would like to add some from this topic, I came from Ozamis and visited Timoga and Tinago several times.
Timoga - is the one with swimming pools, as discusses also above.
Tinago - is water fall, source of water is connected from Ma. Cristina Falls. It is 10 Km away from Maria Cristina. There is about 150 steps going down so kung naa ka sa ibabao u can see orange colors ang mga life jacket sa naligo hehehe... The water is very blue meaning medyo lalun gyud cya.Its a very nice place I will post pics soon.
.... source of water is connected to... (not from, though di ko sigurado pud, di ba lain ug agi-anan ang sa tinago? ang sa maria cristina gikan man siguro ug agus 6 power plant ba?).

I need to enlighten everyone...
All waterfalls in Iligan comes from one source and, that is, Lake Lanao. "Agus" or Agus river is just a tributary river feeding Maria Cristina. So geogically it is not the source of Maria Cristina. Mimbalut has the same source as Maria Cristina. Man-made lakes are present along the river but they are not really considered as natural lakes. It is just some sort of storage for water before it is being passed to the next power plant.
Timoga is a spring and its supply comes from the Lake Lanao only being filtered by a layer of permeable rocks. Imagine Lake Lanao to be a big bowl of water and try hitting the bowl at its bottom to create a small crack. That crack is figuratively the Timoga Spring.
Generally, all water in Iligan are coming from Lake Lanao - the biggest bowel in the world!
Cheers
