Salvation was offered to us freely and it's up to us to accept it or not. the Bible also said that dili tanan maluwas.

i was wondering who told you about "we still have do more". What do you mean by this?
If its about your salvation, i dont agree that you have to do more, is it suffering or good works, just to ba save. About shedding of blood, that was before Christ came to redeem the man kind. It's was all different after the resurrection of Christ.
Also you cant pay for your sin before God. Suffering has been part of life after Garden of Eden. Only thru Jesus Christ alone that we become blameless before the presence of God.
There's a lot of thing to understand about salvation bro...

If you accept that Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Yes you are save.. Good works cant save you. Salvation is a Gift and no need to pay for it.. Gift gani diba GIHATAG. its an insult to God if trabahoan pa nimo ang Libre nga regalo.

God is offering you a free ride... If you say no well its your free will will judge you. Don't blame God.

If you read your Bible Open John 3:16, that would definitely answer your question. You will just say conditional salvation because of the word "IF's"

no one can snatch you in the Hands of God bro. read your Bible bro naa na did 2 i just forgot the Verse.. Better to learn it from the bible rather from other people. I will leave you with this question bro. If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ. Mag continue pa ba ka mag pakasala?.. ako maikog ko. I know maka sala pud ko tao lamang pero not that to much cguro kay may kaikog nako. Jesus died on the cross to cover our sins. Kay bisag unsa on nato makasala gyud ta. Through our eyes mouth hands feet and even sa mind lang.

simply believing in God doesnt mean you are saved. believing entails following Christ spiritually. meaning you have to follow the examples he showed us all. I learned from John Calvin (Calvinism), one of his points that we are blessed by this so called Irresistable Grace w/c means that every human whom God has elected will inevitably come to the knowledge of God. this means there will be a certain time in our lives that God will begin and continue the process of sanctifiction w/c will continue until we reach heaven and dat, it is impossible to lose salvation.

sienna, that's wonderful news, but why would god remain a mystery to us, and reveal only much later ... wouldn't it be much more better if we knew him at the beginning and that were sanctify much more earlier

For me, the reason why God didnt sanctify us earlier bec wen we are born we are already dead bec of SIN remember the story of AdaM AND Eve. after taking that bite, we are automatically separated from the love of God bec of sin.Also,there are 2 parts in believing. one is you believe bec u have seen and the 2nd one is that u believe bec u have da faith just like the air that we breath we cant see air but we believe that air is real.
for me God didnt remain a mystery bec there are so much evidence that he's here with us. take a look around us look at you and me, our purpose in life and etc try reading the bible and u can talk to a pastor

You know bro God first design this called earth to be ours to enjoy.But sad to say that we mankind have rebel against God. Sin was born into our hearts. We are sinful creatures. if you agree, lets stop there.

About your question regarding Saved then becoming Unsave, True that the Bible clearly stated that no one can ever snatch us from the Love of God through JC. If you're already save and has accepted JC, that is good news. But I'm not recommending this to anyone, this is just for you to know that you can renounce your Faith in JC. Meaning you can proclaim anytime that you want to quit being a Christian. With that eternal damnation awaits you, hell is really excited to welcome you.

About Sanctification, the time that you accepted JC as personal Lord and Saviour, we are made "righteous positionally", God declared us righteous (justified us) because of the Life and Death of His Son JC. After Justification comes Sanctification --- the process of becoming righteous practically, being set apart to God by the Holy Spirit to grow out of sin and more fully into Jesus Christ. We will never be fully sanctified until heaven. But we will change. We will, by the power of the Holy Spirit, conform more and more to the will of God and live lives that are pleasing to Him. Sin will always be present with us in this life, but it's influence over us will be lessened over time in the process of sanctification.

If you truly have accepted JC, you'll be struggling over sin. But the good part is that you'll gonna learn to over come sin in the process as time goes. It will not be a walk in the park. it will be a day at time battle. Also for you to grow mature in your Faith you need a Bible believing church. Do not wonder around or church hop. Find a Christian friend and have him help find a church for you to grow.
