I don't measure one's intelligence through his fluency in english. But admit it, she wasn't able to answer the simple question the judge was asking her. Well, she's only 17 and has 7 months to improve. It's not about that anymore, the issue here is about her quitting. She had the chance to prove her critics wrong and that she truly deserved the title. If she's a quitter then she has proved us that she doesn't really deserve to represent our country at the 2008 Miss World beauty pageant.

aww i couldnt have said it any better. even if english is not the basis or measurement of ones intelligence, but she is a mascom student that would really be a big insult to her university, unless she attending a crappy school ahahaha but the thought of her not being able to answer a simple question, that alone is damn right crazy ahahaha..

i take offense gyud sa inyo tanan comments diri. why? kay prejudice kaayo mo sa pagkatawo and kinaiyahan ni janina. hilas ra kaayo mo comment sa iyaha. no one is perfect baya and kamo wouldn't have an iota of right to say bad things about her. kahibaw mo guys ug english lang ang basehan aron makaingon ka brayt ang tawo, then count most scientist and geniuses who can't even strongly stand on their english language out. why, i can attest sa inyo na dili sa fluency sa engluish ang basehan ngano nakadaog siya. but they chose the gal for her honesty, direct-to-the-point and witty way of answering a question being given to her. kana daw ubang nasud na muapil ug such world beauty contest, ngano nakaapil man nang the likes of venezuela and botswana or other countries that are not english ang major language and yet nakadaug ug title? just so because janina can't answer in english fluently doesn't mean she isn't qualifies to win. mabaw ra kaayo inyo rason doh. i pity those istoryans na bati og feedback sa uban tawo. shame. shame. shame. tsk tsk tsk tsk

sa tinood lang naypag ka funny ang nahitabo sa iya and I was also embrassed for her. But thats the risk you take when you join contests. kung sa Pugad Baboy pa, "dumugo ang tengga ko!" LOL

di man pasabot nga bad imo english bugo ka, but seriously, angay baka mo compete in an international competition? where most if not all candidates are really working on their accent, diction and grammar. before she even joined the contest dapat naghunahuna na jud siya what if modaog siya magunsa siya or nag suway suway lang? nothing bad in trying but obviously this contest went very bad for her.

but I think ang ma blame jud ani kay katong mga way lami nga judges. Kinsa mga judges ani? kay kung wa pa siya gipadaog ang storya ani kutob ra unta atong last pageant and she can move on. but karon, gipistahan napud.

On a world wide scale ? You dont repeat your mistakes . Now because she backed out for some reasons we find vague or an alibi and personal matters to her , let her live in peace . What happened here , gi pulutan man nuon siya which I could really care less but I just find it wrong considering all our basis are SPECULATIVE .

but atleast she could have had proven us wrong diba... im sure she knows na gi himu na shang pulutan in many parts of the country and if i wer in her shoes id ofcourse would want to prove them wrong and show everyone na im better than what they think but its the opposite, she backed out or quite. other than her personal reason, i would think na naka realize xa na she cant do it in a world wide scale.

when most of the contestants will consider this as an inspiration or maybe dedicate her presence [in the contest], she backed out..
