Which is good brand of HDD?

For me western digital for now ila hdd ron..seagate karon daghan gapng uli kay d ma detect or hardisk crash,firmware issue labi na ang 1tb ug 500gb..ambot na solve na ba kaha nila..btw..all hdd now is down to 3yrs warranty starting this year including seagate.....

Mga bro unsay pinaka maayo nga brand sa HDD jud? Seagate, western digital, samsung, toshiba etc..

Share your experience about the HDD you use. I heard about seagate nga daghan kaayo ug bad feedbacks pero why daghan paman mo palit?

I got WD and Maxtor but my Maxtor is very very old but still on its shape and excellent condition. I think its 5-7 years na no bad sectors or any physic problem. Pero wala naman ang original maxtor ron just seagate who acquired.

mga bros na sigpatan ra ko ni nga thread kay im planning to buy man gud another HD pagtanaw nako sa date oi...2007 paman ni abi nako wa nani sus pag.padayon nkog basa oi na 2009 naman ang date so i got interested na hino.on ko...ok..so mch about that...my question is ok raba na nga mag lain2 ug brand imo HD? unsa may mau pareho.on jud nimo or thats fine brands doesnt matter anyway it's all HD raman na cla..i got WD 80gig ...

Sa akong experience bro daghan nako nasulayan na HDD maliban sa new SSD hehehe... For me I prefer the brand seagate or maxtor nowadays kay maayo ug service warranty for 5 years daw then if ever imo ipa RMA walay problema and kani na brands maayo manpud, mao gani ako gi gamit ron 250GB SATA2 maayo kaayo ug performance walay saba, smooth, paspas etc...wa koy blema ani nga hdd. And about WD or western digital, for me if maayo lang ni ug warranty sa pinas I would rather buy this, infact naka suway kog palit ug 80GB IDE ani 3 yrs nako gamit way blema ako gi baligya then still working pa daw way blema and about reviews mas ligon ug mas stable kaayo ang WD compare to any HDD brands.

Sa tinood lang swerti swerti raman nang HDD bro if ma timingan ka aw paet kaayo heheh. I tried samsung 2-3 times ko ga balik balik ug pa ilis saba ang hdd ug cge ka crash akong PC thats why di nako mo try pa ug samsung disappointed kaayo ko ana nga brand.

i only use seagate.
the main and only reason is their 5 years warranty.

if maguba in 1 year - i return in to the store.
if the store wont accept it, i will email seagate, request for RMA, then i return in the manila supplier.

i had a lot of hdd before(seagate,samsung,western digital), only to find warranty has expired in 1 year.
i was so happy that some of my older seagate hdd still has manufacturers warranty.

the latest seagate issue was already resolved, so seagate ra gihapon ko.
im still not sure if other companies now are giving the same warranty what seagate is offering.

i think ang bago na warranty sa seagate is 3 yrs nalng (correct me if im wrong). sa western digital, ang caviar black is 5 yrs, caviar blue and green is 3 yrs. hesitant ko mopalit ug seagate ron tungod sa firmware update fiasco. hehe... my personal choice is western digital. im planning to get the caviar black 1tb hdd from them soon. hehehe... ^_^
