absent a divine revelation, we might as well say that. the thing is men have allegedly received revelations from G/god/s, and hence have over the centuries proposed G/god/s to be like this and like that. whether which of those revelations is/are true, well, that's another story.nobody in this world is in a position to say what God is and what he isn't.
personally, i do believe that God is intrinsically good.

God is a really good, when you appreciate even the simple and small things happened, received, experienced in your life. Simply by blooming a bud of flower. By simply breathing the air without fee.
in other way, in our prayer, we must also take the responsiblity by having faith into your supplications and in God. By have obediance to God's law, to avoid sin and lastly, by having patience until the right time comes. Kung wala ta ani, thats the time we blame God...and you will say His not good.
God will answer our prayer in His time. He will provide the best answers for us. Not our will be done but His will be done.
