    VSAT are use for remote locations, its like a military equipments that transmit signal via satellite.

    A VSAT end user needs a box that interfaces between the user's computer and an outside antenna with a transceiver. The tranceiver receives or sends a signal to a satellite transponder.


    This kind of technology are most useful in school located in remote area or barangays.

    Naa diay E1 nga 5mbps?

    @topic, it wouldn't be wise to get a VSAT service if there are other options. It's only applicable to really remote areas where none of the other services are available. IPSTAR for example was used during our last Presidential elections in most of the mountain provinces, tungod na kay wala silay other option.

    naa mu other alternatives rather than via satellite connection sa area na 2g ra ang connection sa globe? wala pud smart na broadband ug cable provider...

    Naa man sir. pwede ka gamit ug high powered accesspoint and use it as a point to point wireless link. from the nearest island nga naay internet access. pm me sir kay matabangan teka anah..
