Party list groups is a good innovation under the 1987 Constitution. It aims to democratize representation in Congress.

Before the party list are implement several marginalized sectors are not represented. An ordinary laborer had no chance to the wel oiled machine of the trapos.

Trapos have no principles. They are not actually representing the people. They are representing themeselves, their families, their business, their wealth. Rarely we see the trapos visit the people to consult thier problems, their needs. in fact trapos are arrogant and cannot be reached by ordinary people. They can only be seen during election time.

Now pro gma people are proposing for its abolition. On what grounds? That they dont like GMA? Again another lame and shallow reason.

The idea of representing people in Congress is silly. I mean beside sharing the same residential district theres nothing in common with you and your trapo Congressman.

Its different in party list representation. You are represented because you have common convictions, common interest and common aspirations.

That makes more sense to me. Retin it all cost.

I want it abolish..............ang partylist system nag represent rman ug usa ka organization ...... sila ray mabulahan sa pork barrels.........tang-tanga nang pork barrels di ba, automatic sad na mo volunteer ug pang resign nang mga representatives.................kung naa man gani mahabilin.........si congressman "way kurat" ra siguro usa.
