this is actually true...!! Little advice mga pre... I've already seen this.... Once ang mga tagalog mag tabi sa manila... and mo apil ka sa ilang istorya... mabaw-an jud nah nila nga bisaya ka... coz of the accent... pero not all mabantayan..

But once mag bisaya naka... Anha jud ka maka bantay.... mag tinotokai nana sila tagsa2x.... then secretly they wll laugh at you coz u know bisaya....!!

For them... Bisaya are probensyanos..... So maka ingon jud mo nga proud ayo sila... coz ingon ana jud na sila...!!

parehas ra gud nah... if mo anhi sila diri... Mag tagalog sila... mo ana man dayon tah.... "UY TAGALOG PALAKA?"

ambot lang pero naa jud mga bisdak na sagulan nilag tagalog ilang sinultian..kanang butangan nila og "ano, yung ano, etc."..unsa mana para ma.elevate imong social status?..para dili naka ingnong probinsyano?..seesh..

naa jud ko napaminawan ai kay may pagka.himantayon biya ko bahin ini..sa usa man to ka mall diri sa cebu..nangutana ang girl sa saleslady.."magkano to?"..(tagalog2 pa si inday!).."Php1000 iyon, miss"..(nagkanga2 intawn ang saleslady).."ay kamahal!"..(ay bisdak diay nga dako!)..you're in cebu for crying out loud!..

for me, mas maayo pa mag.iningles nalang ta kaysa mag.tagalog kay mas angayan pa ta mag.iningles..mas nindot pa gud atong mga call center agents diri kaysa sa mga taga.manila diba?..hasta pud atong mga fellow istoryans maayo pud mag.iningles..tinuod na gahi atong accent, pero it is helping sa atong pag.iningles kay dili ta mu.drag sa atong words like SIIRKELS..if you know what i mean..

kung naa mag.tinagalog nako bisan sa phone, ako jud ininglesan para siya napud magkanga2..hahahaha!..(modesty aside, salamat sa akong mga English teachers)..

a piece of advice to all cebuanos..if you can help it, don't pretend to be someone you're not..embrace your being a cebuano and be proud..mabuhi ka sugbuanon!..(char).. :mrgreen:

yeah, blame it on the manileños and their not treating us as equals..if we are supposed to be one country, we should learn to accept one another right?..lain man gud kay mu.lahi man gud ila treatment nimo once they'll know you're bisdak kay kasagaran mga maid didto mga bisdak man gud..daghan2 npud nakasulti nako ani..as if pang maid-material ra jud tang mga bisdak!..so its hard to accept them because they look down on us and if we do accept them, it's as if we accept being inferior..

hahayz..maabot kaha ang time na kita na pud ang mag.hire og mga tagalog na maid noh?..heeheehee..

Before when I went to manila..once mahibaw-an nila na taga cebu tah.. mo look down dayon..
Dli naman tanan pero mostly nila.. ma pride and mahitas-on.. once they know na cebuano ka.. grrr..grr..

I don't hate people from Manila or from Luzon area. I have
numerous friends coming from those areas and they are quite
good.

Some Cebuanos may hate them probably because Tagalogs
have critical spirits towards us or to Visayans. I never give a
damn any of these criticisms because I am confident that I am
ahead than these people.

In our office, even in extra curricular activities, Tagalogs usually
come to me and let me edit their english work...amazing!

Sa na observahan ra nako, kadaghanan nila ay ma forma lang,
madaldal pero walang substance.

Duha ray possibleng rason nganong mo look down sila ug Cebuanos:

One, tungod kay Bisaya ta, and

Two, generally, cebuanos are better than Tagalogs or people from
Luzon areas.

Aron ma cover-apan ang ilang shortcomings, ang pag look down maoy
defense mechanism ng mga Tagalogs.

I know lot of Tagalog friends who are dependent on me, especially in writing
English...see?

Nganong man look down man, nga sila may nagkinahanglan sa atong tabang?

I am saying this based on the actual situation in our work environment.
