We need to educate Filipinos about family planning.

On the other hand, I don't think overpopulation is really that big an issue at all. If you go to the provinces, you will see vast tracts of land with no one living in it.

Maybe we need to focus on developing our provinces instead of focusing our country's resources to imperial Manila.

It's not totally the church's fault, in reality many filipino's are afraid to buy condom because it is humiliating to buy in public plus it reduces the "erotic" sexy feel. Do not blame on one organization alone. It's the persons freewill if he will buy it or not.

I agree. If only people would act more responsibly to whatever their actions are. Think first before reacting rather than react then think!

Poverty, education, religion, they are just some of the factors that has caused this problem. The government who are in authority is too concerned on their gains and not minding their true calling to serve the country and just not maybe the priority of the administration..Hehehehe!!! For me it is not the problem of the population, it is in delivering of the resources.

ang problema rong panahona is MENTALITY. Most belonging to the E class and in the probinsyas think that, "Ah, nakahimo man gani ug usa ka dosena ka anak akong lolo ug lola sauna, unya wa pa nay labot sa sideline ha (kerida)...So makahimo sab ko ana. IMHO, there is nothing wrong with promoting 2 child policy by our gov't. "Promote" ha, not dictate. Ok ko ani...Besides, it is the end decision of the couple ra gihapon...at least naay awareness effort ba coming from the gov't.

and what about the church's stance? Aw, trabaho man sab na nila, pasagdi lng na cla. Mayg tanan Pinoy Katoliko. Ug kng Katoliko man gani, sure kha mo nga nisunod cla sa tanang prinsipyo like non-use of condoms & birth control?...bsta ang importante lng dili manghilabot ang Church sa affairs of the State...

I think government is working on it already, but unfortunately the church are against it.

i don't see any logical reason why the government should stop its aim to narrow down population just because the CHURCH is against it. there has to be separation between church and government. on the other hand, i agree with the idea that FREE CONDOMS should be distributed among poor urban areas especially in Metro Manila.

Actually, the logical reason is that it will cost them millions of votes because millions of Filipinos blindly follow The Church...

Churches, I think are more dominant than politics because those idiots politicians depends on the votes of those church members...

wala jud na implement ang laws sa Separation sa Church ug States...
