I really have no idea. However, the key to winning the game is to have a good control at the center early on the game and fianchetto may not be the best to achieve it ... I guess.

Actually he did win pero once (Game 10) lang gyud. That was the only win he had in that 12-game series. Transcript of the game below:

Ok raman gihapon coz maka defend ra ang bishop sa center but once na mawala ang bishop sa fianchetto u'll be having problem protecting that side of the board. Pero if white ka e-maximize jud gamit imo mga pieces specially knight and bishop in the middle game. Mobilize ang mga pieces para control sa center.

hehe but that was 8 years ago when im still a serious chess player..karon retired na..hehe early retirement
Sicilian Najdorf is also one of my favorites...I must admit though that I feel uncomfortable with it when I don't know my opponent that much.

Despite efforts to become a pro, I never made it I haven't played for years with a human opponent since the introduction of Chessmaster, Chess Elite and Fritz (the most difficult ever...never won even once). The only time I get a chance to play with real people is when I go to yahoo games

Good idea bro...and I agree. An active knight may do the job as you pointed.

hehehe...kining Marshall Gambit bro kay kulba kaayo ni gamiton kay dali ra gyud magdaug ang game ani. It leaves really very small room for error. As I know, one of the center pawn's sa black kay exchange dayon sa middle game to open both sides to attack each other. I must say kay patayan gyud ni nga game! On the average, in more or less 30 moves daug na dayon

correct bro.. black will give up his e pawn to challenge white's control of the center.. attack daun sa kingside, basta lingaw nga kulba.. once false move sa white patay jud.. d jud ni kumpyansahan nga variation kay bisan c idol kramnik nabiktima ani against leko..

I see you really know that attack well. do you also join tourneys?

About Kramnik, aggressive gyud ni siya ever since Kasparov's time. He was probably the youngest player to have met Garry in the early 90s in which his games were mostly annotated to be highly offensive even when playing black.

In his game with Anand recently, he'd on several occasions forced Anand to transpose the game to Nimzo Indian from Queen's Gambit Declined.
