i think depende na gi unsa pag handle sa money sa family. Some families used to be rich coz maybe daghan utang and squandering na tingali ang 3rd generation. Some families started ok lang then invested in business and went well and might just stay rich if the kids wer as good as the parents to the nth generation. Some families wer rich til now bought some lots in cebu here n there 30-50 yrs ago then some big company bought it at an exponential rate. Generally, its just how money was handled plus hard work/diskarte
