hmmmm, i've been to the religion board here...so i guess you get the picture.
i did not jump right into your discussion with mr.ho, because i'm afraid he may interpret it "again" as "heathens attacking/ganging up on me".hey man, you had a good start...if i hijacked your conversation, that guy could mistake it as a personal attack.hehehe *munzter666 had been yapping about those ad hominems latley on that thread too.
wasn't this the same person who called you an atheist(even though you already mentioned your beliefs)just because you see things differently?
besides, he already admits he is close minded.

    to mr.ho
I am not open minded. plain and simple. just because i don't admire your ways close minded na ko nuon.
you are not open minded...noted. but you dont want to be called close minded?hmm

    ON TOPIC

    define "FREE" mr.ho.
WITHOUT CHARGE, free of charge, for nothing, complimentary, gratis, gratuitous, at no cost; informal for free, on the house.

if it has strings attached its not FREE...not at all.

    Anti-Christ:

Take it in full context by which it was said. that's sad it is becoming an alliance of non-believers now, which i hate to think.

Yah, free--- no cost. salvation is free....... you know why Anti- C? because Jesus Christ died for our sins, supposedly we will suffer the same fate as with Christ, to die and be separated from GOD forever, but HE paid for our sins, our transgression, we don't need to suffer eternal death that's separation from GOD forever............ HE paid it with HIS very life, HE who knows no sin became sin for our transgressions.

now tell me isn't that free? we don't need to pay it with our life, destiny, fate, future? just by accepting HIS gift? mao na libog kay ingon nila gift kuno na but dili free. nabay paid gift? mura man adto sa ko rustans kay palit ko gift para nako? haha. kataw-anan mana.

again free gift, but the recipient has to receive/accept it to have that free gift.
that's just simple thing to do. for example ha..... I bought a nike shoes for you, and all you have to do is accept it and it will be yours, when you do accept it as a condition, you already think that it is no longer free? meaning to say that gift which you just received is already paid for by you na? dba dili sir? now tell me who's close minded?

apil ko sa salvation ha.. hehehe

di man cguro free ang salvation, but you have to work for it.. I think sa pagkamatay ni Jesus sa cross was to show proof sa mga unbeliever, thereby inig motuo na sila, they will follow Jesus's teachings, then earn salvation.. hehe..

    just my own..

yah. you have a point sir, that is if you take salvation as something that you need to be doing, that it need some effort coming from you.

but if you see that the LORD Jesus did it all for us, and that HIS work is complete then you will see that salvation is indeed free for all. nothing that we do but everything because of what HE did.

ang buot nimo pasabot bro nga si Cristo ang nibuhat sa tanan og wala natay buhaton kungdi dawaton lang siya sa baba?
Kindly clarify unsa ang "did it all for us"? unsa ni nga aspect?

Kindly give a verse that stated, "Christ did it all for us"? even not word for word.

    Peace!

well sir the Bible said it all in Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves. it is the gift of GOD, not by works so that no one will boast.
10: For we are GOD's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which GOD prepared in advance for us to do.

So sir, its by grace, gracia sa Gino-o through faith ug dili sa ato kaugalingon. see the difference there. and it says pa gyud nga its a gift. now sir, wala baya gift nga bayran? how can a gift be a paid gift? it will certainly loose its value as a gift, dba? all gifts are free, none would say i will go to rustans so that i can buy myself a gift dba sayop?

It is also clear nga "not by works so that no one will boast". well sir the bible is clear dli na for us to work for our salvation. it is the work of GOD alone by the very verse stated above.

and yes free will sir........ your and my choice, its free for you to receive.......

RC, human naman ko explain nimo ana, dba, si ironside pud ni-explain na nimo....... but i think d nagyud na mausab imong stand. so ok lang. tua ra ang verse ako na gi-qoute balik.
