So you're concerned about contradicting religious teachings now? Then you understand why same gender marriage is forbidden in a church then?
    1. Yes I completely understand that the same could happen too, though high_high heels was trying to defend the stance of women/men deviating from the bible by throwing the excuse of gays deviating as well but its an invalid excuse because gays are generally not allowed to get married so it doesnt apply to them, until they are allowed marriage that is a different story, though I personally prefer legal partnerships. What I was trying to point out the whole time was the amusement that is the sanctity of marriage because. Not every single heterosexual marriage abides to the bible by every detail, therefore its a whole circlejerking circus, a joke.

    2. No, thats because religion is based on primitive traditions. You dont think two women or men making out would piss off a self righteous alpha male thousands of years ago? Exactly.

    "sanctity of marriage"

Like who, britney spears? Kim kardashian? Wife beaters?

This phrase sanctity of marriage is just an overrated politically correct veil that really says "two men together is a personal turn off for me" and then they say we complain too much.

TBH, whether or not gay marriage is legalised doesnt concern me, I understand how disturbing it would be to see two guys kiss at a church and even that would look awkward to me (though nobody actually has to be there) but what pisses me off is when a legal system run by homophobes do not allow a civil partnership certain legal rights as the rest of society. No, apparently were mutants.
like i said, do not use failed marriages as examples coz there are successful marriages too. we also dont question your ability to love or make a marriage work, but we're just not okay with the idea of same s*x marriage because for us it should only be between a man and a woman. i jst feel that you like to practice what's in the bible only if it's convenient for you. the same book that dictates people to marry so they are bind as one by God's law and enjoy the fruits of such unity, the same book narrated how God decided to burn an entire city because of depravity, homosexuality, a city of vice.

if you take a hard look in our society today, we're so close to being the modern sodom and gomorrah, allowing same s*x marriage will complete the whole picture.
