    @anvil:

    taga usc-tc diay ka bai. i am sorry, i thought you sounded like you were from norsu. well at least that is how your post showed. we would have a good time if i had to conduct your interview before you migrated to canada.

    yes it is normal to be parochial and be proud of each our alma mater. we do not have to bash around. afterall, it is personal choice. canada should be so happy having you serve there instead of you trying to bloom where you were planted eh?

    btw, in our time....do you really believe your EE was that good? i wonder what was the record for Silliman EE then....you must be really canadian!

    Right on tophat. He really sounded like he's from NORSU with all the grammatical and spelling errors in his posts. Oh well, as the saying goes, you can't put a good man down, and that proverb goes well with Silliman like champagne and caviar. So my advice, pick on another school if you would oblige, the diploma mills in Cebu perhaps?

    Two graduating high school students of the School of Basic Education were the champions of the Ana Alano Cup of the Philippine Schools Debate Championship (PSDC) held November 4 to 7 at the Ateneo de Manila University.

    Julius Anthony Ragay and Jay Anderson comprised Silliman Team A that bagged the Alano Cup in the championship round among the highest-ranking four teams coming from high schools that have not yet been part of the PSDC main finals round.

    Silliman won over teams from La Salle, Ateneo de Davao and Ateneo de Zamboanga.

    Three other high school students made it to the finals of the Public Speaking Contest of the PSDC: Anderson, Amyrrha Estolloso and Pol Eldridge Caluscusan.

    Four other teams represented the University: (Team B) Estolloso and Nicole Villanueva; (Team C) Dayle Danielle Casianan and Jeff Nicolo Palad; (Team D) Caluscusan and Mishell Marie Gabas; and (Team E) James Shemron Corro and Mykaela Luz Maxino.
