The bible is a good source for inspiration. what worries me are those people with a brain locked to a belief that this book is the only source for spiritual inspiration. i wonder what book was used by people in the old days when the bible was not yet produced?

Its not only for inspiration it is also a good source of practical living principles.
One of the Core Bible principle is to respect and love your neighbor, if you call it Bible fanatic then there is something you miss to understand or just plain ignorant.
Its very different from Extremist terrorist that already killed thousands of people. In the name of god?

In the old testament days God directly communicate to the prophets and the prophets communicate to the people.

Why deviate from the Bible in a different explanation when it is self explanatory.
He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

The Bible doesn't teach hatred but respect to God and love for fellow men.

I am a Bible believer not fanatic since I don't force my teachings to all people or kill people if they don't believe what I believe,
I don't curse people who dont believe in the Bible instead I reason with them.
If you think helping the poor which is one of our teachings as fanaticism then something is wrong with you or your society.

^^Bwahahahaha.....a clear manifestation of a bible fanatic; a classic example. Di na kinahanglan i further explain. Wala ko nangaway nimo ha. Nakatawa lang ko sa ka-heavy nimo react with all the verses pa. Sesh.

For one, pwede man nimo i-disregard ang comment ni @ketllac. Kebs gud coz you are supposed to know better. But the fact nga ni-react ka means di ka gusto naa dili maayo nga madunggan about sa bible or its teachings. If not fanaticism, what do you call that then?
