same answer sir:
salvation is all different from worship and going to church. but getting save should reinforce such behavior of always worshiping the Savior and enjoying the company of other worshipers but it ain't condition of getting save.
even though they are interrelated, indeed, the context of salvation, acts of praise, and church are different..
Ha? you are saying, to be saved, we must always worship the savior while enjoying the company of other worshippers, but its not a condition to be saved? hehe..
not a condition, but it will reinforce that behavior, liking and inclination............
ah i see.. reinforce christians to act more of as a christian.. thats what you are saying?..
then you agree that even if somebody doesnt go to church, he could still be given salvation?
its like this sir ha.
if i say i am a person who loves clean and neat things.... unya hugaw ko, dili ko maligo, 3 days before mag toothbrush, ako basura nagkanat sa ako tugkaran, ako koko walay cut puno hugaw, is it true then that i love clean and neat things?
dba if you truly love it you will not be oblige but rather it is a joy for you to clean yourself, wash your clothes, throw your garbage, cut your nails, take a bath, brush one;s teeth.... etc.
the same with salvation, if you are saved as one claim to be dba, you will enjoy your salvation as well, it will not be a burden to worship GOD but rather a pleasure, going to church and be with fellow believers is no a task but a thing to look forward to...... ingana lang na nga analogy, our deeds speaks who we really are.
supposedly mao ra jud na ang kailangan. Jesus never said worship me or worship God para ma-save ta.. pero ingon man gud si Paul na kailangan ta muacknowledge sa death of christ on the cross para ta ma-save.. unsa-on na lng.. kinsa atong tuohan, si Paul na wala jud kaila ni Jesus, or si Jesus? Unsa ra gud ang commandments ni Jesus, just two. love god above all else, and love thy neighbor as thyself. ni-ingon siya na have faith in him or worship? ingon ra siya if you love him then you will follow his commandments. ang importante is you follow those commandments irregardless of u have faith in him or love him or not. it goes to follow na gud na if you follow those commandments (which is pretty much like the golden rule actually), di na kailangan i-obvious pa jud na muworship ka or muhave faith ka niya. the important thing is abiding by those commandments, ikaw na bahala unsaon nimo pagfollow. dili gud to insecure si jesus. si Paul, nangrecruit ra man na siya ug mga followers, and to have followers, mao na iyang modus. sagulan ug personal na agenda, mao na ang labas. pero sagdi na lng, kay the good outweigh the bad ra man japon..Originally Posted by JX

ang point akong gi-bring up kay if gikan ra isa ka source ang distribution, dili na siya free jud. the essence of something that is free is it comes from anywhere and everywhere. murag hangin ba, libre ang hangin, dili kay mananghid pa ka para makaginhawa ka. in a free market, the distribution of goods is not limited to just one source. that's not a free market anymore kung naa monopoly. this salvation u speak of is not free at all, kay exclusive ra man ang iyang pagkuha.
naa diay condition na maminaw para makahibao na free? in what sense man na maminaw? unsa ang paminawon? di diay pwede magannounce lng na free, unya humana, wala na lain angay paminawon?Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
kinsa man ang nagyawyaw mr. ho? ang ako ra diri, unsa jud na ka-free ang kanang "free salvation" na imong gi-ingon.. naa man gud na strings attached. that's not what u call truly free kung naa conditions needed to follow. kung sa department store pa, murag kailangan ka mupalit ug shampoo para maka-free ka sa 5 ka sachet. the 5 sachet is free alright, but you have to buy the bottle first. how free is this "free gift of salvation"? i hope you'll answer my question.Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
yeah, lain2x jud klase mga tao mr. ho. naa pud diha murag mga insurance agents, nag-ingon ma-libre imong accidental coverage apan kailangan ka mubayad kani na premium. mangilad ra sa uban tao... mura ra pud na malibre imong "free salvation" apan kailangan ka musimba diri sa among simbahan..Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
na-unsa..
ang kanang mapasalamaton ug gusto sunod tanan iyang gusto, murag mao na ang characteristic sa inyong ginoo, mr. ho, diba? the christian god is a jealous god (not to mention a tribal god ra, coz its not a universal god). kailangan gud musunod sa tanan iyang gusto para malangit, diba? no choice na gud ang tao, kailangan god's divine plan jud masunod.
no offense taken mr. ho, and quite frankly, u misunderstood me again. imo gud i-personalan.. be OBJECTIVE lng sa imong response.Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
unsa definition nimo sa FREE GIFT? what kind of friends do you have? what kind of person are you when you give a free gift unya naa condition?
ang akong baruganan ani kay si Jesus Christ ra jud. kung maka-pangita ka ug verse na si kristo jud mismo nag-ingon na kailangan ta muhave faith in his death on the cross for us to be saved or have salvation, then i'd believe you. but if you cant find that, then i maintain my stand.
whether your God is right or wrong, thats not my problem anymore. its yours.
yeah.. bago na akong camera.. nipalit ko ug DSLR, nikon d40x, katong pagvacation nako.. hihihihi..Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2

exactly sir.. it will not be a burden.. if you really love clean and neat things, then to clean yourself would be a thing to look forward to.. otherwise, its just a pretense that you love clean and neat things and you're fooling only yourself.. right? hehehe..Originally Posted by mr.ho_chia2
You still have not answered my question bout not going to church and still receiving salvation.. hehe..
And also, if i go to mass/fellowship/church regularly.. Does that make me a good christian and a righteous person? And if i dont, does that make me a bad christian, not worthy of salvation?
yeah, ang gisulti gyud unta ni Jesus ang masunod first and foremost.. hehehe..Originally Posted by nemmo723

kanya2x lng nga style sa pag.worship, much better if first and foremost ang golden rule ang sundon, magsunod lng nang uban mando sa taw.. hehe..
