So there I was with my complacent self, knowing that I'm set for the written exams on Thursday, I totally forgot to confirm the schedule of my speaking test! As I was about to start my review this morning at work, I suddenly had an urgent feeling to call the administrating center. I picked up the phone, punched the numbers and voila! She said I was scheduled for today at 4pm and that she sent me an email last Thursday. I even totally forgot which email I indicated at registration. Ugh! nagtinanga jud ko. But despite of that, nakatunga jud ko ganina with God's grace. I know He was helping me.
Thank you so much St. Joseph of Cupertino! If it wasn't for your intercession, I would've missed a part of an important exam! Whew! Close call...God really works in mysterious ways!

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.
    Through Christ our Lord.
St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.
    Amen.

    @ WENLOVE ....

Are you a passer sa NURSING BOARD EXAM ? Then CONGRATS to you !!

    To all ....

Indeed we can learn from the saints .

By the way , I was wrong on my earlier post about San Lorenzo Ruiz , I was referring to Blessed Pedro Calungsod as a Cebuano and I mention Okinawa as the place of martyrdom when in fact its in Nagasaki .

How about any personal experiences of miracles through the intercessions of the saints ? care to share ?

    my top 5:

    1. St. Mary Faustina Kowalska - she opened my mind to God as perfect love and perfect justice.
    2. St. Maria Goretti - she made me remember that I used to pray for her during my elementary years.
    3. St. Monica - as a mother like her, I can relate to her struggles.
    4. St. Therese of Lisieux - the patron saint of 'common sense'
    5. St. John, apostle - master storyteller. I can read Revelations over and over again and still get goosebumps! (the first reading of today's gospel reminds me that if my motives aren't love, then i should fall back for my actions would be in vain).

    1. Mama Mary........She led me back to Jesus when I was almost totally consumed by darkness a long time ago.

    2. St. Michael the Archangel and my friendly guardian angel............They are ever present particularly during great temptations (sila gyud nang tig dukol sa akong konsensya)

    3. St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta …..........Her unconditional love to the poorest of the poor really inspires me.

    4. St. Lorenzo Ruiz................For being a martyr for Christ and for being a Filipino.

    5. St. Paul the Apostle.............For his conversion from being a zealous persecutor of the early Christians to one of the most fervent advocates of Christianity.
