and let me tell you that ur in the forum.
my agenda here is to open to you the doctrine in the bible and read it to you.
Because in your mass you will read only verses (1st reading, second reading...).
I'm showing care for you Catholics to know the bible not the Catechism.

    Peace!

    I only rely on this:

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

    Luke 21:13-15

    and

23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
    Proverbs 1:23

so its God who will give understanding in the right time and in the right place.

So I'm dependent with the understanding from GOD and its you will know if my understanding from GOD or not because It will be seen through my basis and that is the bible.

    Peace!

bro this thread gone far and we can't control to limit our discussion , it has connection.
But let us leave it to the moderator if im not on the right track.
So if that what you want we can discuss it with other thread like "questions about Roman Catholic".

    Peace!

bro ang basehan sa pagkapari kay ni-graduate according to the standards or academic.
but in the bible I doubt they've tackled it, bro its a fact in the bible that GOD will give understanding but how come your leaders made another book and concluded that the bible is not complete? is this the result of interpretation and years in seminary?

    Peace!
i think so bro, mao cguro ni result if your faith reaches 2,000 years. but then again, puro man pud maayo ang gitudlo sa Catechism.

i think they tackled the bible because like us in USJ-R we have theology subject and theology 3 tackles the bible. and i think to have accademic standards, is just. like the standards sets on doctors, lawyers, cpa's, engineers. so as the priests. because not anyone can become a doctor by just reading medical books.

now youre mixing spirit and physical.
bro word of GOD is spirits while things you've compared are not spirits but literal/physical.
So basehan diay nga niabot mog 2000 years kay sakto na?
    unsay maayong gitudlo sa catechism?
kinsay musulti nga maayo kita, ako , kamo or ang GINOO?
how about ipost dinhi ang maayo nga imo giingon og atong icompare or consult through the verses of the bible kung maayo ba or gidawat ba sa GINOO.

    ato sugdan.

    peace!
