naabot na man ni sa 2nd page oi!
im hookin' up cozin with some 22" on his Fortuner,..... in Negros Oriental
the OG tire size is 265/70R16,.... the plan is 265/45R22,....
with that size theres still gonna be a BIG gap between the tire and the fender,.... maybe about 5 - 7 finger gap (my guess)
the thing is i dont know his plan,.. if his gonna drop it or not,.... i just supply him with the rims and tires,...
we could either go with 265/45R22 or 265/50R22
just to make sure,... would this tire spec fit on a Fortuner(i dont know coz i havent seen a Fortuner in person)

cHoLoCoY: it would fit bro....ive seen one with 22smuch better using 45 series on it
i gotta bring this topic back up,....
my cozin gave me some 16" bronze rims for free,.... so last week me and the homies was bored,... and i said since amma put some rims on my 86' Prelude might as well drop it,....
so i got some coilovers from my 00' Prelude that i dint even used yet,..... din't even know if it was gonna fit or not. there was a few obstacles but we got it to work,...
so this is the suspension set-up right now
- coilovers front and back
- the front shocks were ordinary but blown, so i got some KYB gas shocks
- the back already came with KYB gas shocks (original)
Tire Set-up
- Michelin Pilot Sport
Front : 205/45R16
Back : 215/45R16 (i went with a 215 at the back coz it fits better even though its a FWD)
i still wanna drop the rear some more,... i want tires to be alil' bit tucked in,....

im thinkin' about body coloring the chrome trims,... like the chrome door frames and the Chrome moldings
what do you guys think? should i
by the way,... this mod only cost me 120 bucks
including:
- a set of 16" bronze rims
- a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires
- a set of coilovers
- a pair of front KYB gas shocks
- labor was free coz we did it ourselves
nice rims.. but i like the way it looks already.. but i think it would look even beter with white or lightgold rims(paint)...IMO
