"JUST A WOMAN? Oh honey no!
I am awesome with a splash of bitch and a dash of wonderful.
Funny that a lot of people seem to enjoy Salinger's "...Catcher" in these forums. Not debasing the book but, if you look at it closely, the main reason for it's popularity during the time it got published was very simple--it was the very first "EMO" novel hihihihi and this is underlined by the fact that, throughout the book, we begin to realize that, Holden was in fact an "unreliable narrator", because of his rather skewed view of the world. Still, a good read
Also, two well-known gunmen were reading the book when they killed (Chapman who killed John Lennon) and attempted to kill (Hinckley, Pres. Ronald Reagan) their targets.

It would be great if we can find an ebook of The Hottest State then. Or is that available in bookstores?
The 3-man committee still isn't complete, though. I've volunteered for the Secretariat post, anyone else wanna join in?![]()
Bitaw we still need the rest of the 3-man committee because they choose the book.![]()
I've checked my sources. I hope I haven't exhausted them all, but as of noon today, absolutely NO available ebook of this book available from the internet. I'm only getting torrent links for the movie and the soundtrack, that's it.Originally Posted by Luthienne
