I've heard from the news today that we ranked eighth among the highest population in the world. This sounds like we have to do more in informing the public that family planning should be a priority especially in these times when almost everybody is complaining that living these days is not easy.

I've recently watched a noontime show wherein children of labanderas were contestants. I have nothing against their means of livelihood because it's legal. It's just that when asked by the host how many siblings these children have, they answer with five or more. More so, the head of the family is without a stable work. How can they really improve their living if they are not being responsible with respect to planning their family? Then they blame the government for not dealing with these concerns when they cannot be more responsible for themselves than the government.

First and foremost, never did I say that wala'y sala or wa nako giblame ang church.

Regarding the 9/11 attack, just like the population explosion, there's a lot of factors involved, we can't look at the story one-sided. But the difference is that the 9/11 incident was carefully and meticulously planned thus every aspect of USA's defense was taken into consideration by the terrorists. Regarding our population outburst, it's a different thing. We both agree that such rise came from the poor families, but most parents of such families didn't plan for their families. We can't call a family supported by a mere minimum wage planned when they have more than 5 children. Unsaon kaha nila pagkaon ug tarong nga kaon 3 times a day? That's the big problem since most of these people engage in *** without any protection and responsibility, di maghuna huna ug di magplano, thus, klaro na kaayo unsa ang resulta, after 9 months, another newborn.

Just to clarify things, here are my stand regarding the topic:

1.) There's a lot of factors affecting the population outburst in the Philippines.
2.) With both the government and the church not serving it's purpose well, it's up to the people to act and find ways on their own to put a stop or at least minimize the population growth.

and just like 9/11, there's also a lot of factors that effected the incident, but it is politically correct that the dept. of national defense was to blame..

Daghan man ug di na ganahan manganak kay daghan na ug anak, pro di kapugong sa init sa lawas, thats the time unta nga mosulod ang artificial contraceptives, especially sa mga di kaayo ka.afford, provide.dan unta sa gobyerno, apan lagi kay naa'y mokontra.. thats why ni.agree ko sa issue.. hehe,
