Yes it might be true about compatibility. Even though how expensive or how best is the dog food but if your dog doesn't eat it or causes allergies to him still it wont be suitable for feeding. Pertaining to climate or weather, dog food does not account to its factor. What is deemed important in choosing the right dog food is really compatibility on its formulation since every dog food manufacturer has different formulation and might or might not work with your pets.
If what works best for your pets is the ideal dog food that you should follow.
