OT: With regards sa new warship na gi-purchase and sa military upgrade, I know na gamay ra jud ang ato budget compared sa lain countries... By year 2017 pa daw maka-acquire ug 2 frigates and I know that by that time mu-upgrade na sad ang military of other countries...

But at least naa kaysa wala jud... Compared sa past administrations gikan pa ni Ramos na wa jud maski isa... If mu-continue lang ing-ani and mawala or mabawasan man lang ang corruption mu-improve man jud ta...

i hope this will die down and both countries investigators be impartial in the investigations and not just to please each other's side.

‘Coast Guard may have violated rules of engagement’ | Headlines, News, The Philippine Star | philstar.com

The NBI, meanwhile, presented to the media yesterday the firearms involved. The guns consist of eight M-16 rifles, six M-14 rifles and a machine gun.

As per the report of the NBI, wala may .50 cal gi presenta.... So that is why I'm wondering, why the Taiwanese claimed the GTH-28 was shot by .50 cal... also from my amateur observations on the pics of the GTH-28, those holes imho, are too small to be made by .50 cal...

    So which is which

being wild and being corrupt is totally different...
Bilateral trade between the two countries totaled US$10.97 billion in 2012, with Taiwan showing a US$6.77 billion trade surplus, according to government statistics.

Please check section VII part A on Taiwan's law on foreign laborer’s salary., It is stated that the minimum salary for foreign laborers in Taiwan is around 18,000 NT dollars or at least 600 USD per month. Filipinos are the 2nd largest foreign worker group in Taiwan next to Vietnamese workers, Filipinos are required more for the quality of their work rather than their numbers.

Unemployment is over 4% however, Taiwanese people would never attempt to work for a measly salary of 18,000 NTD.

Conclusion: The sanctions would hurt Taiwan, more than us. Taiwan is digging it's own grave.

being wild and being corrupt is totally different...

Vessels measured at above 5 meters up to 13 meters is enough to damage the PCG boat, even if i'ts made out of carbon-fiber. An impact struck anywhere from 60 degrees up to 120 degree angle is powerful enough to cause damage on the hull, especially if the colliding force is the pointed bow being perpendicular to the target at maximum speed.

Simple physics bro. This is one reason why they need to stop the engine, before them being rammed.

sir, as per observation sad that looks like a 1919browning... d gyud nah .50 caliber its too famous for its light weight mao too common natoh nga gamit sah light vehicles diri. It's .30 cal

but if memory serves me right, gi rechambered nasd nah into the more common 7.62... so I think ang taiwanese ni assume ug .50 tungod lang sah gireport sah witness ngali nah mounted gun (most mounted gun is .50), klaro kaau ila investigator wala ni inspect maau sah bullet holes..instead they assumed based on eyewitness fairytales.

Nganu man tawn sigi pag hambog sa new acquisitions of military hardware ang php? kay by 2015, 2017 or 2020 ang China, Taiwain or other Asian nations dili sad maka acquire og newer hardware? by 2020 naa na cguro carrier fleet ang China and a blue water submarine fleet for first strikes. =.=' their military budget is in the trillions of dollars compared to our puny budget.

ani ra storya ana, si NoyX2 tuta sa western powers both gov. and private corporations, ang previous admins tuta sa Asian side. take a pick nalang, Kung ako lang anhi nalang tas Asia, labad nas ulo kung ang imong awayon naras TAPAD nimo. Maypa ang imong kauban nas TAPAD.
