because it is AGAINST my principles, and I'm sure these principles are also shared by millions of people in the world. There is nothing wrong of being homosexual, its the lifestyle of a homosexuality that is against the LAW OF NATURE like having s@x with the same gender, worst same *** marriage.

The truth is LGBTs will always be a minority whichever part of the world. Call it bigotry, ignorance or etc.... but you can't also force us "normal" people to believe in what you insist us to believe. Yes you have your equal rights, and that was given to you already the moment you were born.

Feel free to do what you want, no one can really stop you from doing things including playing house with someone who also has a d!ck. But don't shove it in our face that we will acknowledge your union through the sanctity of marriage whether by law or church.

So what do you propose they do? They hide and lie about who they are?? We don't give them the right to be together legally?
What good does it do? On a different but related note, who do we hurt when we say that yes, gays and lesbians should be able to marry each other. Who loses in that situation? Nobody.

And who among us is forcing something on somebody's faces?? I'm not saying that gays and lesbians should be allowed to marry in the church. The religion teaches that it's wrong and their teachings should be respected. Nobody should tell them how to practice their religion. But this same religion should also not interfere with people who do not share their views. The government is for all of us, not just for the Christians, and such, everyone should get the same rights. So stop forcing your beliefs on everyone.

No christian can. Neither do churches allow any of these 'gay marriages' to take place inside their holy walls.

But be reminded that gay couples do not wish to subscribe to the Catholic Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. They only wish to be legally married. Let me emphasize that 'LEGAL' is the keyword. Now I ask you this: who are you to judge which couples are eligible to be legally married? How exactly does their marriage affect you or your own rights that justifies you prohibiting them to get married? Is it because the church claims 'marriage' originated from them? (it did not, as already pointed out by redemption32).

A priest can very well prohibit certain couples from receiving the sacrament of holy matrimony, but he absolutely has no say whatsoever on which couples are/aren't eligible to be legally married. Well, he should have no say, but apparently religious bigotry is deeply entrenched in society at the moment, especially politics, which explains why gay marriage is still illegal in most countries. (You do believe in the separation of church and state, right? If not, then that's a whole new topic (and strike # 2 for bigotry)).

How ironic. Prohibiting 'certain' couples from enjoying the rights afforded to 'normal' couples for no other reason but 'religious belief' is deeply immoral and troubling. But unfortunately it's something the world seems to be 'okay' with for now.
