Well, kung biga na man lang why would you marry in the first place? Very few people marry tungod sa biga, kay mas convenient man mamiga kung single. As with all relationships, serious or otherwise, importante man jud nang physical attraction and intimacy.

I think most of the people na maminyo seryoso man jud ang intention, it so happens lang jud na dili lang jud ta makaila sa tao. For some, worse pa jud kay wala sila kahibaw na violent diay ila partner or kundi chronic liar and cheater jud. These people need a practical and legal means to get out of a bad relationship, and divorce is the most suitable solution that human civilization has to offer.

And yes, I'm all for divorce to be legal. After all, who am I to say that all marriages should be "til death do us part"? Not all marriages work. It's a bitter pill but it's the truth.

Not all Filipinos are Catholics (and not even all catholics/xtians believe that divorce is against the will of god). Not all Filipinos believe in a god. Not all Filipinos are wed before an altar. And if you think divorce is against your faith, rest assured that you will not be forced to avail of it. And besides, if dili man kaha pwede ibreak ang marriage vows, nganong naa may annulment? They say that annulment is meant to be costly para ma-discourage na mubulag. Well yes, nadiscourage jud hinuon . . . ang walay kwarta! Ang mga datu? nadiscourage pud sila?

O, walay nay pulos ang engagement if both parties hate each other to a point nga ga antos ra silang 2 if tied down sila.

Again, the government should 'keep the options open' for both parties. So if people wanted to divorce, it's possible and if not, simply do not separate.

Not all marriages work. Yes, you made a vow but after going through all those marriage counseling, trial separation & seeing a shrink nothing still works and both are inreconcileable. Why stay in a broken marriage? Ma trauma lang ang kids seeing both parents fight & hurting everyday. I say divorce, less costly than annulment too.
