^I have to disagree with you on that one(sorry, n_n"). Well at first seems like One Piece but as it go on its exactly like Rave. Because they are from the same author. ehehe. Plus plue is still in series.

To answer why people thought they are similar or bare any resemblance. Is because both authors are members of generation who grew up obsessed with Toriyama and all things Dragon Ball, and whose styles were forged by Toriyama worship. Another reminder that even masters like Mashima and Oda started out as the same thing.
