Sa mga nakaadto na ug bangkok lately, icheck ba sa ilang immigration ang hotel bookings? Molarga man gud mi didto ugma with my family til the 17. L, plano namo 1 night hotel lang sa amo kuhaon then sa 15 na mi mokuha ug lain kay basin kung mokuha mi ug straight 3 days dili nya mi ganahan sa place.

Yes Immigration officer will check your hotel bookings. Just make sure you can answer them straight when they start asking you why only one night .and they will start asking other requirements like company i.d if employed or pocket money,etc... but usually, that only happens for those who travel alone esp they can sense youre on a job hunting trip .but for family then you have return ticket dili kaayo sila higpit.

Guys asa mo nakakuha ug Thai Baht? Nagpa exchange mo sa inyo peso dri sa Cebu or Manila? Or sa Bangkok na? Naa pd ko nabasa ang ila peso gpa change to US dollars then mao ila gpa change to Baht. Unsay mas maayo?

sa akng case never tried nga nagpa exchange ug thai baht sa ilang money exchange/bank ky ang travel agent maoy nag offer namo so didto mi pa change nila pero RMB - Thai baht currency

Sa ako experience mas maayo ang USD - THB. Kana kung USD daan imo kwarta. But if paexchange ka ug PHP to USD, diritso na lang PHP to THB.

By the way, nindot kaayo amo experience sa Bangkok. Went to places by bus kung maagi-an ug bus then river boat if naa. From airport, train ra padung city. Naghotel ra mi kung asa mahaponan or paduol mi kung asa mi laag next day. Day to day ra dili long stay. Food was great. Basta nindot. Planning to go back in a few years.

to share, when i went there last november 2014(solo traveller here), i don't recall na gi check sa ilang IO ang hotel booking. taas au to ang linya sa immigration nya passport ray gi check. better be prepared though.

Sa akoa experience, mas maau ug magpa exchange ug money daan dri sa from PHP to BAHT. Kay kato nagpa exchange ko dri, mga .75 man ang exchange rate from PHP-BAHT. Pero pag-abot nko didto sa Thailand, didto sa may airport, naa man money exchange ngadto, .56 raman ang exchange rate. Mao to nagmahay ko kay gamay ra akoa gpa exchange daan..

Naa sad Hotel didto bros nga nindot kaau, tas barato rah. Kalimot lang ko unsay name ato. Basta kay duol ra to sa train station. I think mga ika 3 nga train station from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Nabayaran sa akoa GF didto kay 800 Baht. Pero sulit na kaau xa. Nindot man gud sad.
