I personally like jimny, aside from the SUV features, it's versatile, who knows one day you get stuck by a deep mud and the looks it's cute.

exactly my point bro. im into city driving only (talisay to MEPZ and vice versa) but I really like the idea of keeping a 4x4 just in case i feel the itch to go off roads or round south. besides, as you have said, it's versatile and I also find it fit for a guy. thanks for input.

    THanks,
bro di man ko affiliated to any korean surplus cars, naka palit ko ug kia sportage for 175k fully loaded nindot kau ang sulod, that was an owner. Most surplus karon baligya is 180k - 290k, kanang 180k as-is pa na and ikaw pa mo recon ana unya mo gasto gihapon ka na mo abot tanan ug 210k+ mura ra gihapon ka nipalit ug recon. hehehehe. pagwait lang kung naay mobaligya na owner kanang lumargahay. but then again it depends on you, if u want to buy worth 180k na dili as-is nya ordinary try lang sa chung ma atbang SM or try sa Samserge along Gullas school, sa manduae these are the two shops I visited na nindot mo restore na dili pod kau mahal. Naka visit ko sa ilaha before ko nakapalit ug sportage. I don't know with the other shops kung mahal or barato ra ba.

If I may help you out in this one. Let me start by, if you want a family car and you do not have that luxury of money to spend and maintain a vehicle, look for a durable and long lasting car. Im not promoting, I just want to help. And what car would that be? It's PAJERO! .. Of course, how you choose the car matters a lot, it doesn't matter if surplus or local unit as long as you have chosen the right car My parents just bought a 3 door pajero, surplus unit @ 250k last year, the OR says its a 00' model, but actually it's a 92' model. Mind you all, I could not believe the ride, it's like as good as new, the ride is so accelerating, no rust inside and outside, of course it was all original, my parents opted to find a car with all original specs.

Now actually, it wasn't my parents who decided. My mother's boss was the one who decided that we should choose a pajero since we will be borrowing money from him, he argued that, pajero is the most durable car that is sold here in the Philippines, and later said that it can even reach to 15 years and still in good condition. Truly enough we followed his advise, at 92' model, our should be atleast 16 years now right since its 08'? And to all of you sir, I can assure you my car run as good as new you free to ride anytime for you to believe it. Also, my mother's boss told us that, "trust me, I had a lot of cars (he got like 15 personal cars already, mostly Dodger that time) and I knew cars very well" Currently, my moms boss never had a pajero actually, because mostly his cars are all bulletproofed and said that bulletproofing a pajero will give him a headache money wise.

it's not nihit ang parts bro, bago lang ko pailis ug cylinder head gasket available ra sa kia auto ports sa colon, ang pasabot nimo na init ang issue is the surplus cars na tibuok pagpadala diri meaning wala gi knockdown gisulod sa container na tibuok pa, mao na ang illegal karon kay naa ordinance ana sa Customs. ang dili illegal kanang gi chop chop, so meaning naa pa mga parts moabut ug naa pa mo abot daghan na mga surplus pero e assemble pa lang nila dili na tibuok. ang ikaduha na punto bro, kanang hot car na dili surplus ang nahitabo ana kay ang kabuang sa mga owner sa manila for example crosswind sportivo owner ila dayon e declare as car nap then bayran sila sa issurance sa whole amount then kato na car ibaligya diri sa cebu mao na nahimo hot car. ang pangutana ngano nakalusot na sa LTO,customs or whatever..that's another story. basta ginigosyo na sa mga owner sa manila But then again I don't mean all brand news owners ingon ana na case naa pod sguro na case na ang TMG corrupt basta bro for short ayaw ug conclude dayon na nihit ang pisa.

Guys, for the record Im not presenting any kia surplus shops. Di lang ko ganahan ug urban legend or hershey's, let's promote honest and good trade in istorya.

    just my 2 cents.

I have no comment againt's pajero, parts lang medyo mahal. But ang korean counter part ana is hyundai gallooper it's the same parts lahi ra ang brand. just for general knowledge though. and for another tip, ayaw gyud kau mo pili ug converted kay delikado wala ta kahibalo kung gi unsa pag convert, sa autocross last yr naay namatay ni crash ang subaru kay converted to na break ang steering system..so delikadro. just my advice. good for you bro all parts of your pajero are original.

another tip pa gyud, when I bought kia sportage after 1 month na sunog ang gasket sa cylinder head..the reason why? ang cylinder bolt was not tighten to its specification. naay mga lugak na cylinder head bolt so nasunog ang gasket unya baratohon ra ang gigamit na gasket ang ako gibuhat gi ayo namo sa ako papa ang I bought a mazda R2 cylinder gasket worth 1400 pesos, you're asking why mazda? because kia sportage R2 engine is Mazda engine. adto mo sa colon tagaan mo ug parts sa mazda for kia sportage. for short, ma japanese or korean surplus, ang pinaka importante is ang pag recon sa mekaniko pero unsaon ta man sa di lang panaway ang mo recon pod pinadagan ug pinakatay na trabaho mao na mo tirik ang surplus car. Pero ako papa ug ako knows a lot about diesel engines and we used torque wrench to tighten the bolts.

mao mga brods tips na nako.

    thanks!
    peace!
