ang first poster.. interesting iyang composition.. naai sense of "mystery" pro di kaau nako ma claro ang pic kai gamay..

Well, like I said... it was all done in a rush. There are times you don't have time to work on perfection. Thanks for giving comments.

Let's get more involved. Suggestion is there should be a rule... (or guideline at least )... that before you post any comment you should post one of your own creations. So something like for one day of giving critique you have to pay a "toll" of one artwork for others to comment on.

Okay here's another one for you guys to tear apart... also from the exhibit...

I just know I'm gonna get pounded for the princess warrior not blending in with the rest of the scene ...and the "rock" she's standing on is lousy as hell

This was printed darker than it appears though on most screens. Damn I've got to get my moniter calibrated again.

    other elements are...

sky shot from my front yard

model shot in studio... as the other minions were of another shrouded, sword-weilding model... love the sword

    outfit designed by Brian Aloquin

I should have used a lighter background when I shot the photo. I had a hard time trying to separate her hair. It blended in with the dark background so I had a really hard time making it out. Which was one reason why I printed it darker as she blended in better in the print. My monitor was originally calibrated to be darker so what I got on screen is the same as it comes out at the printers.

My monitor was calibrated using Colorvision Spyder systems. But recently I hit the reset button by accident on my monitor and now I have to do the whole process over again.

Cool! Can you try bringing out her lips abit more? And how would it look if you increase saturation or increase red in color balance? Think it could look a bit more bloody? But the old and decayed looked works out just fine. Just the lip was a bit lost IMOHO

@flashfreak: cool. pero i medyo flat ra ang dating sa face and shoulders sa chick. it looks like the cheek sunk. well, i only noticed that one after seeing the orig chick pic, she's got perky cheeks right? but without the orig pic, i say it looks so damn real.

    Mag bisaya nalang ta!

Ang sinaw(over white glare) sa pisngi sa babae maoy hinungdan nga mura noon og plastic ang imgae. Ge gamitan onta og burn tool with 5% exposure in Midtone Range and air brush active.

5% para macontrol gyud ang burn lines..
