im getting more excited with this series.. and the mecha design's starting to grow on me.. especially after seeing a VF-25S Ozma (grey w/yellow and black trim) with amor packs similiar to GBp-1S for the first VF-1 mechas and Mikhail's VF-25F Mikhail (blue with white trim) with sniper rifle.. the later reminds me of Max Jenius.. naka glasses din..

same lang gihapon and episode 2 with what happened to the orignal series.. Alto reaching over ranka, exactly the same thing that hikaru did to minmay! hehe

Well one episode is supposedly titled Miss Macross or something and I guess sheryl can't join, since she's already an establised star.

Guys Episodes 1 & 2 are out. FYI, there are some difference from the new episode 1 compared to the one shown last December 2007.

How important are the changes? For one who has seen episode one (dec 2007 version), is it necessary to re-download it before watching episode 2? I've been using the HD version and it's quite hefty (more than 600 MB)... and I'm using bandwidth for other purposes so downloads are quite slow, namili ra jud ko unsay idownload nko karon..

@Nezumix22: Some battles scenes between VF-171 & Ghost Drones v. Varja (the new alien threat) were not included in the Episode 1 that was released this April. The NEW episode 1 put more emphasis/focus on Sheryl's concert.

Actually, IMHO its not necessary to download last December 2007's Episode 1, unless of course you wanted to see the Ghost Drones getting pwned by the enemy.

ALSO 600MB? That must be the RAWs then?

I'm watching the subbed versions which vary in sizes from 170MB (*.mp4) to 230MB (*.mkv). These are not true HD though, according to some poster's comments at www.macrossworld.com.

^^ Thanks. I'm watching subbed versions by Shinsen and their HD ver. (Res: 1280x720, Source: HDTV, Codec: DivX6-MP3 CBR, 27 minutes) weighs at 600 MB (.mkv). Their non-HD is at 240MB (.avi). I think it's in the compression and the codec used, I've checked out another HD ver. (AnimeONE-Gekkostate-Menclave) and it weighs only 300+MB., though I haven't actually seen it.
