MEGADOME PROJECT: Do you want it in Cebu or Mandaue?

SRP is the better location for this project coz it will help a lot in drawing investors sa SRP, kung asa ni itukod duol manjud dha ang uban investments like hotels,malls and blah blah. Wala lang ko kasabot sa argument na NRA para duol sa airport and Port? Say naa dula sa dome, ang mga mudula diay from airport and port dretso sa megadome? hehehe Dili pud siguro! day before man na sila maabot usually alangan didto sila matulog hahahaha! sa hotels man siguro dretso dba? And if sa SRP maau kay naa sa tunga ba duol2 sad sa talisay, mapiskan sad sila gamay.

now, the plan to make it a Convention Center instead of a multi-event dome which will cost about 700M compared to the 250M 2 years ago. talk about over-inflation! probably it took more to buy vice-gov sanchez to finally "agree" with the project. anyway, i personally think this is not right because first of all we already have waterfront, grandcon and the soon to re-open marco polo plaza.

we badly need a megadome in Cebu. if they wish they could design it to be both a convention center and a multi-event dome at the same time. this is were foreign architect/designer consultants should come in. 700M is a lot of money for trial and error caused by lack of experience. i think medalla is "not yet" up for the job. don't get me wrong, he is a good architect but only how many architects are experienced in designing this kind of structure in this country?

the major problem here is politics, first garcia and ouano are political allies. second, tommy and some garcia's have a quarrel. i just hope gwen will not join in the fray and handle this with objectivity which will be good for the majority of us cebuanos.

O.T. : mura gi change na man ang project. They are planning to make a convention center instead of megadome. I read it sa sunstar sometime last week or last 2 weeks.
