Mr. Redford was in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid wherein the theme song was Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head by Burt Bacharach and wherein the Sundance Film Festival was based (I think).

Ahrnuhld SZzzzuuuwhachamakolit who is now Californy gov played Conan (2 times) and prior to that a Russian agent in Red Heat. Further before that he played Hercules..... on these movies including the Terminator series - his dialog was kept to a minimum due to his hard Euro accent. And prior to that he held the Guiness Book of World Records title for the most symmetrical physique while also carrying the title of Mr. Universe in the bodybuilding world.

I maybe OT but cnat help it - How about stars who started in TV then to movies -
George Clooney was the savy doc in ER before he gone to the movies
Robin Williams (my idol) played a corky alien in Mork and Mindy
Bruce Willis played a private eye in Moonlighting (that had a nice theme song sung by Al Jeraue)
Pierce Brosnan played a con man covering for a lady private eye in Remington Steele (the name he assumed that was created after the lady seen her typewriter brand) to extend her services to a city that hardly recognizes lady detectives
Ron Perlman who is currently famous for playing Hellboy (and a memorable role in Aliens Resurrection) played the Beast in the TV series Beauty & the Beast opposite Linda Hamilton who later played as Sarah Connor in the Terminator movies
