Right. This wouldn't have happened if BAP and POC settled their differences.

Basketball at the Games would've at least give us some respite from all these problems we're facing. At least man lang malingaw ang mga tao ug tanaw sa TV, knowing that basketball is one of the most popular, if not the most, sports in the country.

a clear manifestation that somehow sports is still infected by political virus..

    BAP headed by Joey Lina
    POC, Cojuanggco ang nagdala.

..not only 23 SEA Games particularly the basketball event affected by the conflicts between BAP and POC but also other international basketball tournaments, how sad?.....

It is sad to note, how Lina became a head of the BAP where in fact he doesn't have enough knowledge and experience about BASKETBALL.

For the first time. No RP baskeball team in SEA games which irony of all ironies, is held in the Philippines, a basketball crazy country.

All this happened under the inept, illegitimate and corrupt Arroyo regime.
