ruby on rails.. the name itself rocks..
naa moy ka recommend na book para ka sugod ta RoR then ide pud, ntx.
never tried ruby on rails, im still using ajax as of now
Ajax is a coding technique for making a interactive web apps...
RoR is a framework using Ruby language that works on the server side.
Differentiating the two is not correct...they're not in the same road... ruby uses rails(;0)...heheheheh
I would rather use/apply AJAX technique than use ROR. Ajax reduces request and loading traffic while RoR does not.
i agree with wildfrog. lahi man nang duha. AJAX is a model/technique that gets or posts request from the client side to the server side (or vice versa) which work somewhat similar sa mga desktop applications. for example, clicking a button does not necessarily loads the whole form in a desktop application. So AJAX somewhat immitates it like when you click a button(for example) it doesnt need to load the whole page back, it would just simply posts/gets its defined request back into the server(or vice versa). So its an architecture/model, not a technology. ROR on the other hand is a framework and is very much different from the term "AJAX"...
