hai...ka sensitive sa mga tao uy....
tsk...tsk...tsk... bad bad bad!! ...
It's simply annoying that they have that careless remark for the medical schools in the country. The truth hurts, for them I mean, because we have the most efficient professional health workers in the world. Countries abroad are our main clients when it comes to medical profession because they know that we are efficient in rendering such kind of service. On such note, it is just appropriate that they apologize to us for such remark.
Now they can really be called desperate.
I think complaining about the offensive scene in the Desperate Housewives is a normal and proper thing to do. The medical profession and those who felt insulted by the offensive scene is right on track to express their disapproval of the negative swipe against the Philippine medical education.
Although I don’t dispute that we can be open to and accept criticisms especially on those that have some basis that doesn’t mean that we’ll just keep quiet even if something said or done against us needs to be corrected.
Another sad angle on this issue is the reaction of some Filipinos who are obviously confuse with what is sweeping generalization to a specific and clear criticisms of valid facts. Unless explained we’ll never know what the basis of that offensive DH scene was.

Have you ever heard of the saying, "There are 3 ways of doing things: My way, Your Way & the Chinese way." I think I do not need to explain this.
Though not all Chinese are doing it but they are known for it. Just like the case of fraternities. It's simply human nature and we don't have to react to it everytime.
sakto imong points bro but the genre of their show is not comedy, no need to adlib some punchline or anything that could humor the viewers..and the scenario is not in anyway funny since Susan was talking to a doctor who was telling her of a medical condition...it's way way uncalled for!Originally Posted by LytSlpr

But the damage has been done...if there's any.
but every actor has the right not to disclose explicitly what is written on the script especially if it can affect her image or a direct derogatory remarkOriginally Posted by dtex
