here are some guides from me, pero dili absolute rules nga kinahanglan sundon jud:
- if you are under the influence of alcohol, be sure the effects are only towards to singing and drinking, not harassing
- give your friends a cheer when they sing
- clean the microphone with antiseptic or any wet tissues before using, you might never know who used it before you
- sing as clear as you can, keep the microphone as near to your mouth as you can
- you can adjust the key of the song as you want
- you may sing as a group or as a duet if you notice some of your friends know the song or they are even better than you.
- don't be rude to other singers by disrupting them
- don't obstruct the TV monitor unless you want to take pictures or serving food/drinks
- don't randomly change the lyrics of the song when singing in public, others might be irritated when you do so.
- sing on a stand-up position as much as you can, don't just sit, win over your friends' respect or might have new found friends instead.
- if you're tone deaf be sure to pay respect before singing especially in public, noise is considered a health hazard by WHO.
- be sure to mind your time when doing this on public, we have a law regarding public annoyance/nuisance
- be sure to mind your friends when they are already trashed, they might irritate the other present on the venue as well
- when going on a date, make sure you only do singing in the private videoke booth
- also when on a date, the microphone is only for singing
- and also, when on a a date, you may lock the doors of the booth, but i remind you that you may consider yourself lucky if you can do anything else when inside the private booth.
- some private booths have CCTVs inside like when in davao, they have cameras everywhere so be careful with extra intimacy or you might find yourself inside the "not so private booth with mates in it"
- sing nice songs depending on the mood unless requested by your friend, never sing songs relating to a break-up when your friend is experiencing one..
- sing in accordance to your capabilities, don't sing excessively and going on for higher pitch notes, it might be fun, but it is still not proper, don't degrade yourself...
- avoid doing the 2nd voice, you will really sound weird and might ruin the over all performance
have a nice reading folks!
