as far as i know kung dunay usa ka patay or hold up or kawat! dali ra ma trace kon kinsa ang salarin or suspect thru ID system kon mag conduct ug checkpoint! ang problema lang kun dili madakpan ang mga suspect or salarin.....

so sa kanang mga anti... labi na sa uban dire! nganong naka lapas man ni sa imong katungod? maglibug jud ko ug sabut ani nila usahay! kung gusto ka ug privacy dili na lang unta ka mag gawas gawas sa inyu! aron dili mahilabtan ang imong privacy! kon tinoud jud ka nga pinoy unya gusto jud ka nga malinaw ning atong nasud nganong mo oppose pa man jud ta ani.....

The ID SYSTEM kinda being stipulated that it invades the privacy of the people....

but to think about it Germany have an ID system. So i guess we need to surrender some rights to enjoy protection right.. Favor kaau ko anang ID system.

the proposed national ID system, actually raised in 1998, entails the use of biometrics, i.e. a citizen is required to have a file with the govt. which wud include fingerprints, DNA patterns, facial features, retinal patterns, voice characteristics and others. if implemented effectively and with the information used correctly, this id system can be beneficial in curbing our crime rates, since it wud be easier to identify and capture criminals. it wud also be easy and quick to transact with government offices, thus, making the delivery of services (e.g. health and social security) more efficient.

the national ID won't work in this country. it'll be a waste of money.

build and fix roads first. build more hospitals. there are other important things to do. and other smarter ways to spend taxpayers money. fix the government agencies. make them more efficient first. what's the use of high tech systems if those important agencies have archaic systems?

oh.. and u think the National ID is really effective in capturing criminals? funny. don't underestimate the terrorists. they're not that dumb.
