    i-check lang sa seagate website bro, supply the needed model number ug serial para maverify kun covered pa ba sa warranty.

    so whats wrong if somebody is buying defective seagate hdds? nice info but i dont like the tone out of it, as those guys doing these kind of business is ripping off the seller.

    i had posted in one of istorya's forum about one business outfit in manila doing the RMA for a minimal cost.

    well if you do the RMA yourself it will COST LESS.

    SEAGATE won't fool you.

    kini akong harddisk NastyTM napalit nako March 2005, pagcheck nako sa Seagate website ang warranty until February 2010.

    you guys need to know that the warranty depends on the model type. newer seagate drives carry a 5 yr warranty. the older ones usually 3 yrs and lower.
    these warranty does not extend to harddrives that is included on branded oem systems like HP, IBM etc which usually has only a 1yr warranty.
    the only way to check if you qualify for RMA is check your model on their website. All that is needed is the Model number and serial number

    hhmm...naa na ba seagate service center diha sa cebu na modawat ug RMA and RMA in 15days or less? if naa, well and good...if not then u guys then have to ship ur drives here sa manila who knows the workarounds in RMA sa seagate/maxtor drives or better yet, ship the drives to singapore and pay for it (FYI: you pay also from singapore 2 pinas)...
    i never mislead or scam ppl in my business...again, kaklaro ana naa koy RMA service na ad aside from buying defective drives na ad and mind you guys, sa ako RMA service, I PAY FOR ALL SHIPMENT!!! my customer just have to do two things, 1. meet up wid my friend who wud get the defective drive and 2. pay thru bank AFTER i receive d drives from seagate and the dat same day ipadala nako ang drive diha sa inyo...

    and oh by d way, check my stats in TIPIDPC.COM search nyo nalang bbgracie ako nick!

    i am here in manila so i can very well do dat and pwede na nako inegosyo...suya lang ang uban diha coz they don't have option... well i have it guys so drool it!

    (sorry ha kung nagminaldita ko, naa man gud uban diha pataka lang storya ug paimportante sa ila kaugalingon!)

    i don't believe you will be paying for the shipping from singapore back to the philippines.

    RMA is very clear about that.
