misag siguro mawala ang manila, lain na nga city na pud ang ilang himuun nga capital.. besides, malacanang is not located in manila. House of Rep. is in Quezon City, and the Senate is in Las Pinas City.. only the Supreme Court ang naa sa manila.. except of course if your referring sa metro manila as a whole dili lang manila city.

@darkwing: Review your geography. Malacanang is in the heart of Manila at the tip of Mendiola beside the Pasig Rver. The Senate is not in Las Pinas, its in Pasay City, GSIS building. House of Reps is in Quezon City at the Batasan Complex but it does not make it capital of Manila.

IF THERE'S NO MANILA.... You think Philippines would better - IF wala ang Manila unya assuming Cebu is the capital and the most progressive place in the Philippines. Maybe dili ani ka samok atong country karon?
Cebuanos are more disciplined and wise voter than tagalog and it proves. No doubt about it.

A lot of Manileños may look arrogant because of how we talk or how we present ourselves, I had the same impression with Cebuanos when I first moved here. But take a closer look and get to know them, you'll find out that we are almost the same.
