AMD Radeon R7-260X R9-270X and R9-280X review - Introduction
performance wise, the R9 series is not that impressive based on the review (if running at stock) as i've posted above but we're 100% sure that the new drivers will improve the performance... factory OC variants are coming too... the big factor would be the price... happy ta'ng mga consumers ani kay dili sya mahal... why? since AMD is not designing the GPU from scratch... refresh lang man ni sya pud... the same sa Nvidia sa pag release nila sa Kepler refresh pud... dili kaayo dako ang gasto aning GPU companies sa R&D sa mga refresh versions maong, ma ka adjust sila sa SRP sa GPU chip itself...
once OC'ed... we can unleash the power of AMD's offering though... nice kaayo once ma release na ang factory OC'ed variants then over-ride-dan pa gyud ug manual OC... yay, good "price-performance" ratio gyud ni... a very nice to have "gaming GPU"...
on the lower end of the spectrum... the R7 260x performance @ stock not impressive either... mahal pa ang SRP nya... but, mo drop ra ning price pud ani nya pud hinoon...

mahal lagi sir, naa nay pre-order sa pchub (tipidpc), R9-270x for 8.5-9.5k, R9-280x for 13.5k
As I always said, ang keypoint aning refreshed R9 series kay price. The 270x can touch the heels of the 760 and take note this is a refreshed HD7870 on steroids for 3-4k less. The 280x is faster if not on par sa GTX 770 for at least 3k cheaper. The 260x is a Bonaire refresh but with performance tweak, is much closer than the 7850 compared to what the 7790 reached before. If it's cheaper than the 7790 which I expect it should be then it's a good buy for those mainstream users who wanted to play games at 1080p with med-high settings. Not to mention it carries True Audio technology.
The only thing I hate about this series is the implementation of new turbo boost. All cards now carries a strict boost profile like nvidia which limits the freedom to overclock the card. Not as strict as nvidia though but it's getting there. The rule now applies just like the refreshed Keplers. Get the cards with the best performing cooler if you wanted to achieve higher clocks.

^ mas barato dha sa pinas bro compared diri... nice gyud na sila for the price ra ba gyud... labi na, ma OC na... bisan ang reference design... in real world gaming... fps difference nila sa previous gen (southern islands) AMD GPUs of the same level kay dili na mabantayan... pero, ang price... sus, malipay kaayo ta kay mas barato man sila sa previous releases...
The real deal would be the Hawaii Pro and Hawaii XT. Next week na iya release, dubbed Titan killer both in price and performance.
^ kana ang nice na release bro... ayayayayay... but, dili man ni pang masa na GPU pud... kay ang price nya, more than what an ordinary juan can afford man... but for an enthusiast... this is it! (for today)... hehehehe... kay lagi... mag innovate man gyud ang tanan semicon companies... mao man ni ilahang battle cry...
"Innovate or Die!"...

The R9-290 (non-x ) may be reachable. Ang 280x kay tag 13,5k ra gud even cheaper. If rumors are true regarding the R9-290x to be priced at $599. There's a huge gap in terms of price between the 290x and the 280x. The R9-290 non-x could be priced below 20k.
mao gyud... mang ubos pa gyud ni once stocks are available na diri's pinas...
