Guard Chauncey Billups has decided to opt out his final year contract, he will become an unrestricted free agent this week...

hmmmm.. ... (rumors before) my CAVS team had planned to get him bofore... hope they could refresh their mind and get an offer sheet to Billups...

that would be an awesome upgrade to my CAVS team... hehehe...

Billups could be looking for a $10-15million per year deal. The Cavs are more than $9milion above the cap space... Could be an option to let Varejao and Pavlovic go so that they can get Billups.

VC and randolph

the nets might make a move to ship carter to portland for zach randolph after signing him back for $60M for 4 years. this will do good for both teams, and the nets a little better

with randolph, it would be big for the nets, especially for richard jefferson whose development is hindered by VC's presence.
carter and oden or durant? not bad, but it would be still too much VC

Damn. $60million for 4 years... that's a lot of money. That trade does make sense. Randolph makes $13million next season but Carter has still a lot of gas in him.

Not even close. Trade talks between LA and Minny have been dismissed. What Kevin McHale wants are:

to get back young players (Bynum? Vujacic? nah)
high draft picks (#19? layo ra)
salary cap relief - they have Mihm and McKie

One out of two. That's a bad sign. No deal there.

A series of rumors are blocking the view for the coveted NBA Draft this week. Amare to Atlanta for #3 and #11 plus expiring contracts for Lorenzen Wright and others? That would either make or break the the Hawks.

1. They give up 2 promising rookies in the potential-studded NBA Draft
2. Who would make a pass to Amare to be effective
3. I still don't believe this scenario will push through

So, in conclusion, this is some rumor that needs to be blocked. I mean, don't get me wrong, but Amare is effective with a PG like Steve Nash around.
