i think this presumption is likely correct since he already spent more than 3yrs in surigao before his wife left him. true that we still don't know what really transpired between him and his wife or how he ended up in cebu but the fact is he was scammed out of his pension and his properties even before their relationship went sour. they lived in zurich for 7yrs. siguro naman if dili maayo ila relationship didto palang the wife would have left him since didto raman sila nagkita (as per the article). the wife purposely deceived him saying the house cost 3.5million when in reality it was only 1.8m. sakto ba? but nevertheless it was still a travesty. siguro makita man nimo ang outlook sa kinabuhi sa usa ka taw the way he carries himself even at times sa crises. he didnt wane. he didnt put his tail between his legs and ran to the embassy. he persevered. he found a way to survive. in a land strange to him. and even just for that, thats commendable in my book

most foreigner pili-on pa magkalisod-lisod dri sa atua kaysa mauli sa ilaha.
lahi ra gyud kuno dri kay bisan gamay naa kuno tay pagpangga sa dili nato kaila.

makiangayon dili lamang sa susama aning swiss national atong tabangan apil
atong kapwa cebuano ug pilipino hilabi na kadtong naninguha ug maayo aron
makatagamtam ug tawhayng kinabuhi sa maayong pamaagi.

Anyone knows of an NGO or any company that provides micro financing for SMEs? This man really needs that kind of help. A 500k capital is enough for him to get started.

Although it simply defies me to think that he would not want to go back to Switzerland. I bet the Swiss government would not tolerate this at all because this can be very embarrassing on their part. His story has not reached critical mass yet, eventually it will get the attention of the Swiss government.

This is good item for CNN or other international news organizations.
